Your escort will collect you from your Brasov lodging early in the day. In roughly two hours, you’ll reach the base station of the cable car on the Transfagarasan road. The only means of reaching Balea lake from this point is by the cable car. The journey spans over 3.7 kilometers, elevating you from 1200 meters to 2040 meters. Once you ascend, inhale the fresh mountain breeze and feel at liberty to roam around. When hunger strikes, treat yourself to a delightful meal in one of the huts. Ultimately, take the cable car back to the base station. Proceed towards the small town of Carta to marvel at a gothic monastery from the 13th century. If time permits, experience the impressive Fagaras Fortress, a 14th-century construction, on your return to Brasov. Upon your arrival in Brasov, your guide will accompany you to your accommodation.
