Family Fun! - Loved this! A perfect mix of adventure and nature. Ronnie was an excellent guide! My kids loved the hike to the waterfall, along with a few stops to jump in the amazing water.

Incredible! - Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Costa Rica! We did the adventure hike to the waterfall a couple of weeks ago and it was magical. The hike itself was incredible and very fun, with water crossings as well as a few small ladders climbed. A large part of why I am writing this review is because our tour guide Ian was amazing! He was very knowledgable, friendly, energetic, and did whatever he could to make our experience as incredible. We also did the river tubing, which was very fun. A huge shoutout to all of the other guides as well who worked very hard to ensure our safety first as well as ensuring we enjoyed it. I happened to be the only person to fall out of my tube while in a rapid out of the group, and a guide quickly pulled me up from the water, and got me back into my tube safely. I could go on, but this tour is worth every penny, would highly recommend. They also have a safe and reliable transportation service they offer to visitors like us who did not rent a car!

A ride worth a visit! - We hiked to the Leona waterfall (Riviera blanco) and tubed down the Colorado River. It was amazing! The water of the rivera blanco was blue, we saw capuchins in the trees, bats and even a small snake (the Snake Boiga). But this experience wouldn’t have been so fun without our wonderful guides Ian and Cheyo! I recommend this tour 100%! Great team, safe, friendly, just wow!

Our Favorite Thing! - Book this tour NOW. We were staying in Tamarindo and it was about a 2 hour drive from our house- completely worth the trip. My family (kids 7 and 9) booked a private tubing and hike tour and it was our favorite thing we did in Costa Rica. I'd have booked it twice if I knew how good it was. Our guide, Vladimir, was incredible. So kind to our kids- so knowledgeable about the the area, animals and plants. He can make the most realistic animals sounds and this was such a delight to our kids. One of the highlights was riding in the truck on the way to tube or hike. You have the option to stand in the back and my kids thought this was better than any Disney ride ever. The water is cold (if you're familiar with spring water- it's colder) but you barely notice until you're actually standing in the waterfall area- my kids were ready to go back out as soon as well got in there. The teeth began chattering. We heard nothing of the water temperature the rest of the time- tubing or hiking. Tubing: the adults are given paddles and the kids are not. The guides (there were 3 with us on our private tour) made sure that the kids made it safely through the rapids (they said they were about a class 2 that day). We have kids who are very much "I will do it myself" kids and one who is especially a thrill seeker adrenaline junkie. I loved that Vlad let her do as much as she could possibly do by herself and only assisted her when it was for her utmost safety or when she requested. Hiking: the hike isn't "easy" but it's definitely doable for kids and adults who are somewhat fit. If you have knee injuries or hip issues or are incredibly out of shape- it may be difficult. You will be climbing ladders, wading through currents over rocks, going through a cave (we even got to see little bats!!), up pretty steep inclines and the terrain shifts occasionally. There are ropes to stabilize you and your guide will absolutely assist you- but just know your ability. My family LOVED it. We plan to go again next time we visit.

Thrilling tubing! - This river tubing was awesome! It was fun and scary all at the same time. Our group was 6 people and then 4 others joined us. Probably more than 8 guides were also there to ensure we didn’t get stuck, or they bumper boated us along the river or helped us at steep drop offs. I was very thankful for them! They definitely know what they’re doing and look out for you. Vladimir and the gang were great! 10/10 recommend! The photo package was killer also!

Awesome Experience - Great Company! - Fantastic experience and the highlight of our Costa Rica trip! John "Rambo" was our guide and so very helpful! My husband had knee issues and John took extra care assisting him on the hike, the waterfall experience and the tubing. He was kind, knowledgeable and made this an experience of a lifetme. Brandy helped out of the tubing part of trip and was so much fun! This was a great company to deal with and everyone is so professional. Would highly recommend! Pura Vida!

Great experience- challenging but fun!! - I was terrified in the river rapids- but they had 7 guides for 9 people and they made sure we were safe and having fun! All in a fun once in a lifetime experience. Very thankful to have Jeremy as our guide.

Great fun, good guides and an awesome experience! - Loved this experience. The canyon walk is easy but beautiful scenary and fun to swim in the waterfall at the end. We had a guide for just the two of us and he was great at pointing out wildlife en route and very friendly. Tubing was great too. Again, just the two of us, this time with a guide each- can see why they are needed to stop the tubes going under! Really fun, guides kept us very safe! Particularly loved the dog that ran along the bank for the whole thing!

Fun times! - Jonathan was a great guide and we had an excellent time on the hike and on the tubing. He knew alternate routes on the hike so we weren’t in long lines. He and the other river guides kept our group safe.

La Leona waterfall & tubing adventure - We had a great time with Ian to the Leona falls. He knows what he is doing and is a fun and very knowledgeable guide. The hike itself was not too hard, only some parts were slippery and the last part requires swimming and some strenght (pulling up on rope, climbing). The second activity we did was tubing in the river, which was a lot of fun. Ian and Luis did their very best and swam all the way through the whole time with us (one- on one), making it also a very safe experience. Thank you for such a great day!
