- C. Los Angeles 1265 - Cusco We will meet at 1:00 pm in the Cathedral of the Plaza de Armas (if you are staying in a hotel far from the plaza, we will go to pick you up at your hotel). After touring the cathedral, we will walk through the streets of the Incas from the Plaza de Armas to Q’oricancha (Temple of the Sun), where we will observe the construction methods of Inca culture and Catholicism. Inside Q’oricancha, you will visit four venues dedicated to different deities (sun, moon, stars and rays). Then we will take a bus to the majestic archaeological site of Sacsayhaman where we will participate in a guided tour. From here, we will take a 10-minute bus ride to the Q’enqo archaeological site, which offers great views of Cusco. Continuing from here, we will take another bus to the archaeological site of Puca Pucara, a small Inca fort. Finally we will visit the archaeological site of Tambomachay; A temple dedicated to water that has impressive Inca channels. Then we will take a bus back to Cusco to the Plaza de Armas, where the tour will end. Duration: 6 hours Free admission

Our rendezvous point is the Plaza de Armas at 1:00 pm - don’t worry, we’ll collect you from your accommodation. Our journey starts at the cathedral, from where we’ll explore the Inca streets leading up to Q’oricancha (also known as the Temple of the Sun). Here, we’ll gain an insight into the construction methods of both the Inca civilization and Catholicism. We’ll explore four different sections within Q’oricancha, each one dedicated to a different celestial deity (the sun, moon, stars, and rays). Next, we’ll hop onto a bus heading toward the impressive Sacsayhuaman archaeological site for a guided tour. Afterwards, we’ll take a brief 10-minute bus journey to the Q’enqo site, which provides stunning views over Cusco. Our adventure continues with a bus ride to Puca Pucara archaeological site, home to a quaint Inca fort. Finally, we’ll head to Tambomachay, where you’ll see an ancient temple dedicated to water and marvel at the intricate Incan water channels. The day concludes with a bus trip back to Plaza de Armas in Cusco, marking the end of our tour.
