PICK UP FROM THE AIRPORT - CITY TOUR

Qorikancha - At 1:45 pm, we will pick you up from the hotel for the city tour. Our first stop is Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), where we will have a 45-minute guided tour before moving on.

Sacsayhuaman - After a 30-minute drive, we will arrive at Sacsayhuaman (from the Quechua words Saqsay = place of satiation and Waman = Falcon, meaning “place where the Falcon is satiated”).

Complejo Arqueologico Q’uenqo - Next, we will visit Qenqo, a ritual center on a rocky outcrop known for its mysticism, which you will feel upon entering the rock formation.

Complejo Arqueologico Pukapukara - After a 15-minute drive, we will reach PucaPucara (red fortress), a military construction.

Tambomachay - Our last stop is Tambomachay, known as the Inca Bath, where water worship took place. After our visit, we will return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 7:00 pm.

SACRED VALLEY OF THE INKAS - AGUAS CALIENTES

Sacred Valley of the Incas - We will pick you up from the hotel at 8:00 am to start the tour of the Sacred Valley. After a 1.5-hour drive, we will arrive at the archaeological site of Pisaq for a guided tour of approximately 1 hour.

Traveling along the Willkamayu River, also known as the Sacred River, we will reach Urubamba, the capital of the Sacred Valley, where we will enjoy a buffet lunch featuring typical Andean cuisine.

Ollantaytambo - After lunch, we will drive for 30 minutes to the town of Ollantaytambo to visit the archaeological site. Here, we will have a 1-hour guided tour, highlighting the Temple of the Sun, The Intihuatana, the Princess Baths, and Andean terraces.

Aguas Calientes - We will then head to the train station to board the train to Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night. The guide will visit the hotel in the evening to provide details for your visit to Machu Picchu the next day.

LOST CITY OF THE INKAS MACHU PICCHU

Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - Early in the morning, we will take the bus to the lost city of the Incas, Machu Picchu. We will have a 2.5-hour guided tour, followed by free time in Aguas Calientes for lunch. We will then board the train back to Ollantaytambo, where a Chullos Travel representative will meet us and transfer us back to Cusco and to the hotel.

MARAS-MORAY

Salinas de Maras - The tour begins with an 8:00 am pick-up from the hotel to head to the town of Maras. After passing through Maras, we will visit Moray, an agricultural laboratory considered a magnetic center of Pachamama, for a 40-minute guided tour.

After the tour in Moray, we will drive for 30 minutes to the salt mines “salineras” for a 1-hour guided tour, with time for shopping for salt or souvenirs. We will return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 3:00 pm.

RAINBOW MOUNTAIN

Vinicunca Mountain - At 4:20 am, we will pick you up from the hotel and head to the district of CUSIPATA. At 6:30 am, we will arrive in CUSIPATA for a 30-minute buffet breakfast before continuing our journey. At 7:00 am, we will depart for the WASIPATA area, arriving at the trailhead around 8:00 am. We will then start our 1.5-hour trek to the Rainbow Mountain (WINICUNCA), spend 40 minutes at the summit, and return to the trailhead in about 1 hour and 15 minutes. At 12:00 pm, we will regroup and head back to CUSIPATA for a buffet lunch at 1:00 pm. We will return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 5:30 pm.

Plaza de Armas - You will have a free morning to relax depending on your flight time. Alternatively, you can opt for an additional tour focused on Peruvian gastronomy and the preparation of pisco sour.
