PICK UP FROM THE AIRPORT - CITY TOUR

Cusco Airport Transport - A representative from Chullos Travel Peru will be awaiting your arrival at the airport to transfer you to your hotel. Enjoy a free morning to rest and acclimate.

Qorikancha - At 2:00 pm, meet at the main square to begin the tour. The first stop is Koricancha (Temple of the Sun) for a 45-minute guided tour, followed by a 30-minute drive to Sacsayhuaman (from Quechua Saqsay = place of satiation and Waman = Falcon, meaning “place where the Falcon is satiated”). Next, visit Qenqo (a ritual center on a rocky outcrop), a place filled with mysticism that you will feel upon entering the outcropping rock. After a 15-minute drive, we will arrive at PucaPucara (red fortress), a military construction. The last stop is Tambomachay, known as the Inca Bath, where water worship was practiced. We will then return to Cusco, with an approximate arrival time of 7:00 pm.

SACRED VALLEY OF THE INKAS - AGUAS CALIENTES

Sacred Valley of the Incas - We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 am to start the tour of the Sacred Valley. After a 1.5-hour drive, we will arrive at the archaeological site of Pisaq for a 1-hour guided tour. Traveling along the Willkamayu River (Sacred River), we will reach Urubamba, the capital of the Sacred Valley, where we will enjoy a buffet lunch featuring typical Andean food. After lunch, we will drive for 30 minutes to the town of Ollantaytambo to visit the archaeological site, including a 1-hour guided tour of the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana, the Princess Baths, and Andean terraces. We will then head to the train station to board the train to Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night. In the evening, the guide will visit your hotel to provide details for your visit to Machu Picchu.

LOST CITY OF THE INKAS MACHUPICCHU

Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - Early in the morning, we will take the bus to the lost city of the Incas (Machu Picchu) for a 2.5-hour guided tour. Afterward, you will have free time in Aguas Calientes for lunch. We will then head to the train station to board the train back to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, a representative from Chullos Travel will be waiting with a sign displaying your name to transfer you back to Cusco and to your hotel. “Machu Picchu tickets are subject to availability, with the Ministry of Culture of Peru being the only authorized entity to sell these tickets. Tickets will be purchased according to available circuits (1 and 2). Other circuits may be offered at an additional cost. If no tickets are available, you will receive a full refund of your tour package.”

MARAS-MORAY

Salinas de Maras - The tour begins with an 8:00 am pick-up from your hotel to head to the town of Maras. After passing through Maras, we will visit Moray, an agricultural laboratory considered a magnetic center of Pachamama, for a 40-minute guided tour. We will then drive for 30 minutes to the salt mines “salineras” for a 1-hour guided tour, with time for shopping for salt or souvenirs. We will return to Cusco, with an approximate arrival time of 3:00 pm.

RAINBOW MOUNTAIN

Vinicunca Mountain - At 4:00 am, we will pick you up from your hotel and head to the district of CUSIPATA. At 6:30 am, we will arrive in CUSIPATA for a 30-minute buffet breakfast. We will then continue to the WASIPATA area, arriving at approximately 8:00 am to start the trek to the MOUNTAIN OF COLORS (WINICUNCA), which takes about 1.5 hours. We will spend 40 minutes at the mountain before returning on a 1.25-hour trek. At 12:00 pm, we will regroup and return to CUSIPATA for a buffet lunch, lasting 30-40 minutes. We will return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 5:30 pm.

Plaza de Armas - Enjoy a free morning to relax, depending on your flight time. Alternatively, you can opt for an additional tour focused on Peruvian gastronomy and the preparation of pisco sour.
