Highlights

DAY 1: PICK UP FROM AIRPORT - CITY TOUR

• A representative from Peru Like company will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Enjoy some free time to rest and acclimate.
• At 2:00 PM, you’ll be picked up from the hotel for a city tour. The first stop is Koricancha (Temple of the Sun) for a 45-minute guided tour, followed by a drive to the next destination.
• After a 30-minute drive, you’ll arrive at Sacsayhuaman (Quechua for ‘place where the hawk is satiated’) for a 1-hour guided tour.
• Next, visit Qenqo, a ritual center in a rocky outcrop, where you’ll feel the mysticism upon entering.
• A 15-minute drive will take you to PucaPucara (Red Fort), a military construction.
• The last stop is Tambomachay, known as the Inca’s Bath, where water rituals were performed. You’ll return to Cusco around 7:00 PM.

DAY 2: CUSCO SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS - AGUAS CALIENTES (MACHUPICCHU)

• At 8:00 AM, you’ll be picked up from the hotel to start the Sacred Valley tour. After a 1.5-hour drive, you’ll reach the ruins of Pisaq for a 1-hour guided tour.
• Following the Sacred River, you’ll arrive in Urubamba, the capital of the Sacred Valley, for a buffet lunch featuring typical Andean food.
• After lunch, a 30-minute drive will take you to Ollantaytambo to visit the archaeological site, including the Temple of the Sun, Intihuatana, and the Princess Baths, with a 1-hour guided tour.
• After the tour, you’ll head to the train station to board a train to Aguas Calientes, where you’ll spend the night. Your guide will visit your hotel in the evening to provide details for your Machu Picchu visit.

DAY 3: MACHUPICCHU

• Early in the morning, you’ll take a bus to Machu Picchu, a 30-minute ride. Your guide will meet you there.
• Upon arrival, you’ll present your entry ticket and begin a 2.5-hour guided tour of Machu Picchu, followed by free time to explore.
• You’ll return to Aguas Calientes for lunch.
• After lunch, you’ll head to the train station to board a train back to Ollantaytambo.
• At Ollantaytambo station, a representative from Chullos Travel Peru will meet you and transfer you back to your hotel in Cusco.

DAY 4: HUMANTAY LAKE

At 4:00 AM, you’ll be picked up from your hotel and driven to Mollepata for breakfast.
Then, you’ll continue to Soraypampa to start a 1.5-hour hike to Humantay Lagoon, situated at 4,250 meters above sea level, where you’ll enjoy the local flora and fauna.
After descending to Soraypampa, you’ll return to Mollepata for lunch before heading back to Cusco, arriving around 5:00 PM.

DAY 5: MORAY AND MARAS SALT MINES

• Check out from your hotel.
• At 8:00 AM, you’ll be picked up for a tour starting in the picturesque town of Maras.
• Next, you’ll visit Moray, an agricultural laboratory and magnetic center of Pachamama, for a 40-minute guided tour.
• After Moray, a 30-minute drive will take you to the Maras Salt Mines for a 1-hour guided tour, with time for shopping.
• You’ll return to Cusco, arriving around 2:00 PM.

DAY 6: RAINBOW MOUNTAIN

• At 4:00 AM, you’ll be picked up from your hotel and driven to Cusipata, arriving around 6:30 AM for a buffet breakfast.
• At 7:00 AM, you’ll depart for Wasipata, arriving around 8:00 AM to start a 1.5-hour hike to Rainbow Mountain (Winicunca).
• You’ll spend about 40 minutes at Rainbow Mountain before returning to the starting point.
• Around 12:00 PM, you’ll begin the return trip to Cusipata for lunch, then head back to Cusco, arriving around 4:30 PM, depending on traffic.

DAY 7: INCA BRIDGE OF Q’ESWACHAKA

• At 7:00 AM, you’ll be picked up from your hotel and driven south of Cusco to visit four lagoons.
• After a peaceful moment by the lagoons, you’ll visit the small Pabellones volcano near Yanaoca.
• Next, you’ll arrive at the impressive Inca bridge made of vegetable fiber (Ichu) over the Apurimac River in Quehue. The bridge is maintained annually by local communities, with an offering to Pachamama before renovations.
• You’ll have the chance to cross the bridge, which requires some courage.
• On the way back to Cusco, you’ll visit the colonial Inca bridge of Checacupe to compare the two bridges. The tour ends in Cusco around 5:00 PM.

DAY 8: TRANSPORT TO AIRPORT CUSCO
