The journey to the lake takes approximately one hour, subject to city traffic.
Upon arrival, participants will receive all necessary gear, including a paddleboard (with safety strap), life jacket, full-body neoprene wetsuit, and a paddle.
Once everyone is geared up, the lead guide will provide essential information, including paddling techniques and safety instructions. Participants will practice balancing, and once proficient, they will paddle towards the lake’s center. The paddling session lasts around 2 hours, depending on the group’s skill level.
After returning from the lake’s center, there will be time to relax and enjoy the stunning view of the Andes. A box lunch is provided, featuring a sandwich (with options like veggies, avocado, ham, cheese, olives, tuna, tomatoes, onion, potatoes, and more) and some beers.
Finally, all equipment is packed up, and the group returns to Cusco the same way they arrived. The expected return time to Cusco is shortly after 4 pm, as this is a full-day excursion.
