Great company, not a great destination - The marketing team did great on these pics. First, our favorite part was the guy who came to pic us up had the nicest, newest car we had been in while in Cusco. He was very nice. He drove us about 20 minutes away and told us about all we were seeing out our windows in his broken English.. When we got to the place, our tour guide also spoke some English. We got on outdated machines with used (dirty) helmets and (falling apart) gloves and proceeded to drive maybe 2 miles on their main roads (which are half paved) at 10-15 km per hour. It was horribly boring with not too much scenery apart from the poverty, and there are stray dogs that come race after you. Once you get to the place, it is on the side of the road and appears to be next to a garbage dump. You park up the road and walk. There are maybe 6 cute statues and carved faces. There are lots of stairs. They were doing construction on some of the area so it was sectioned off. There was a cafe that wasn't open (but coffee, juice and snacks available at front) and a gift shop that has no lights, but uses windows as its natural lighting. It was cloudy when we went so very difficult to see. It would have been nicer if they kept the grounds clean- there were lots of little pieces of garbage around, wrappers and such. If you walk to the top you can have a nice view of the city. I didn't recommend going here to my friends, who went to Cusco the following week. The tour company was very nice and professional, and our ride was waiting for us when we returned to the store, but the destination was not worth it. Bring your own water and snacks, sunscreen (they offer ponchos).
