- Sacsayhuaman - Around Cusco is the second stop, an enigmatic place called Sacsayhuaman. It is a structure made of huge carved stones, approximately 9 meters high and weighing at least 100 tons. These are arranged in an organized way and in perfect position for three platforms of 390 meters long.
If you do the Cusco City Tour in June, specifically on June 24, you can enjoy in this place the Fiesta al sol or Inti Raymi, an annual and emblematic celebration of the city, full of a lot of culture.
- Q’enqo - The fourth stop is the center of cults and ceremonies dedicated to Mother Earth, which is a little destroyed by time, but not enough to call it ruins. History says that this was an amphitheater of cults where the Inca dead were placed for ceremonies, the dead were laid on the trapezoid structures found there.
- Puka Pukara - Puca Pucara is also known as the red fortress since the stones with which it was built have become this color due to its high iron levels. In addition to the fortress, other archaeological structures such as aqueducts, enclosures and fountains can be seen. Because of its proximity to Tambomachay and its characteristics, it is believed that it constituted a strong military defense of this place.
- Tambomachay - And last but not least, we have the Tambomachay or the well-known resting place, just 100 meters from Puca Pucara. It is made from carved rocks, which form a beautiful set of canals and waterfalls, coming from springs. This is why this place was a place of worship of water.

A look back at the past - To travel to the heights of Peru, you need to have a preparation even if you are 18 years old, since the change is quite abrupt that it is better to take concerns. We asked our pharmacist, then he prepared everything accordingly from heights.
Cusco is a city full of history and colors that the natives knew how to keep with inner strength. Each street takes us back to the past by filling our being with curiosity to learn again. Since the Incas are considered the last civilization. This civilization has gathered as much information from past cultures by reusing each piece of information to develop it on another scale of higher intelligence. All this can feel, see, internalize it in the simplest way. Live in the present by breathing this energy. Forget about selfies for 10 minutes and feel that strength as you let yourself be guided for this culture that is permeated everywhere.

In a few days it is used a lot, you have to go with enough energy because you walk a lot - An amazing experience, the landscapes, the people super friendly and attentive to tourism, it is glad to receive you like this. It makes you want to come back to see more.
Separate theme of Peruvian cuisine. One of the best in Latin America.

Good tour - Great knowledgeable guide, but meeting the group at the Plaza was just messy, a bunch of tour companies just yell names by the fountain, a better system would be appreciated. The Qorikancha is overwhelming because it gets so packed with multiple groups with different guides, it’s honestly hard to focus on the experience. All the other stops were great.

Solid tour, though more clarity needed - This is a very solid tour , guide catered to me in English and was a good selection of sights to see in the Cusco area. However , beware that you will need to book tickets for each place on the stop for about 90 soles. This could be made more clear before booking

Very nice place - Romantic place outdoors, no noise; no doubt we loved it. The guides worked hard to show us the historical and cultural value, which deeply impressed us. In addition, we were curious to attend the party that takes place there. We hope to come back next year and see it with our own eyes.
