Amazing! Truly a highlight of our Peru trip! - Absolutely everything we were looking for: fun, informative, and full of delicious food. This class was 4 full hours where we learned about Peruvian fruits, corn, potatoes, avocados, fish, meats, cheeses and more! We had two dishes to choose from to make, ceviche and lomo saltado. We also made a bonus dish of stuffed peppers with cheese and made pisco sours either traditional or passion fruit. Ronal made it fun and he is an exceptional chef, helping us learn how to do all the little techniques that make a huge difference. We even got the recipes to take home and I do feel confident now I could do it. The market portion was so fascinating and not something we would have ventured to do on our own as it’s so huge! Ronal took care to show us different produce. I really felt I learned a lot about the Peruvian people, food, and way of life. Take this class you won’t be disappointed! We are still talking about how it was the highlight of our trip besides Macchu picchu!

Highlight of our trip! - What an amazing experience that was both fun and educational! I really felt by the end of the class I knew more about Peru, its people, and how they eat on a regular basis. Ronal is an exceptional chef and crafted great recipes for us to try, either ceviche or lomo saltado. The bonus dish was stuffed Peruvian peppers and of course the pisco sour. Ronal took care for each step, chopping properly, tasting, and giving an honest opinion about alpaca and guinea pig. I felt he was authentic, never catering to touristy ideas in an informative way. The market was also amazing! I’m not sure our group would have felt comfortable doing this on our own. Final knew many of the vendors and showed us many potatoes, peppers, corn, fruit, and even beer! A fascinating look at Peruvian way of life. Choose this cooking class! You will not be disappointed!

Amazing experience! - We booked this tour/class by seeing the reviews on social media. It was an amazing experience and probably one of the best activities in Cusco! Ronal was an excellent communicator, very professional and spoke very good English. We initially went through the market and he gave us some recommendations and then we tried the fruits and cheeses from the market. Then we made Pisco Sour and Passion Fruit sour which tasted amazing! We also made Ceviche, Lomo Saltado and a potato appetizer (causa limena) all of which were excellent! The Lomo Saltado was probably the best one we had in Peru. Not only did we learn lots about Peruvian food but also lots about Peruvian culture. It felt like a very personable and non-commericalized experience. Lastly, Ronal emailed us very detailed recipes of many Peruvian dishes and drinks. Highly highly recommend this class for anyone debating! Book it before it becomes too busy!

Great cooking class!! - Excellent time with Ronal, chef at Cusco. The cooking course is organized in 2 stages: going to the Point of Sale to buy products, Ronal takes the opportunity to reveal us full of information. Then back to his kitchen where we could cook an appetizer, a dish and a cocktail (recipes of your choice). We loved this moment which lasts 4 hours + tasting time. We feasted, the products were good qualities. A real pleasure! Recommended +++

Wonderful hands on cooking experience - I had an absolutely wonderful experience! First Ronal took us to the market where we picked up some of our ingredients of the evening as well as learned more about local customs. The cooking experience was very hands on and a lot of fun. The company was great too. I attended this as activity as my first night of elevation acclimation and I would recommend this class to everyone visiting Cusco.

Must do: shop locally and cook! - Ronal is an amazing Chef! We had 3 couples in our group and he accommodated all our different food preferences. First, we walked to San Pedro market and he explained all the different aisles. Upon returning we prepped for our meals: ceviche or loma Salgado and our pisco sours or juice drinks for the nonalcoholic choice. Also, made stuffed peppers! We never felt rushed and even the non cook (my husband) had a great time! A must do!

Amazing Class - Ronal is an amazing guy with a lot of knowledge to share. The class was full of local culture, foods, drink and fruits. He also take care of the details, as make me feel more comfortable with the altitude (with was my first hours in the city) and the food restrictions of others classmates. Definitely a good option in Cusco

Great experience - We spent a lovely morning with Ronal. His passion for food and knowledge of South America cuisine made it so interesting. Going around the market with a local gave us a new insight to what is available and the community it comes from. Coupled with making absolutely delicious food in a beautiful kitchen. He was also able to change dishes in order of dietary requirements and gave veggie options.
