10/10! Highly Recommend and Great Fresh Ingredients - This cooking class was a highlight of our time in Cusco! The husband and wife owned business was so personalized, market visit was really informative and interesting, and we loved that this was one of the only classes with lomo saltado option! Would highly recommend - great English as well.

Not only was the class... - Not only was the class fun, but the recipes are a great way to share your Peruvian experience with friends back home. The market tour was fascinating. We learned about all the different kinds of meat and cheeses as well as some of the unique items you can buy that may not be available back home.

Great experience and great food! - I had a great experience, it just so happened I was the only one that registered for the morning class so it was like a private lesson! Ronal and I went to the market and he showed me all the different meats, cheeses, breads and fruits in Peru and we bought some for the class. Ronal was very good at teaching me how to male pisco sour, cook Lomo Soltado and Causa Limeña! I will definitely be cooking some at home. Highly recommend, thanks!

A Must-Do Experience in Cusco! - If you’re visiting Cusco and want to immerse yourself in Peruvian culture, Ronal’s cooking class is an absolute must! My partner and I had the most incredible time with Ronal—a warm, knowledgeable, and passionate teacher who made this experience unforgettable. The adventure began at the famous local market, where Ronal guided us through a vibrant maze of fresh produce, bread, and traditional ingredients. He explained everything in detail—the origins, cultural significance, and how they’re used in Peruvian cuisine. We even got to taste some exotic fruits and pick up a few items for our cooking session. It was an eye-opening and fun way to connect with the local culture! Back at the studio, we were lucky to have a private class that day. It felt so personalized and hands-on. Ronal guided us through every step of preparing our meal, from chopping fresh ingredients to mixing drinks, sautéing, and putting the finishing touches on our dishes. The food we cooked was beyond incredible—easily one of the best meals we had in Peru—and we felt so accomplished knowing we made it ourselves under Ronal’s expert instruction. This class is so much more than just cooking; it’s an immersive experience that ties together culture, food, and learning in the best way possible. If you’re heading to Cusco, do yourself a favor and book this class. It will be a highlight of your trip—we’re already dreaming of recreating these dishes at home! Gracias, Ronal, for an unforgettable day! 🌟

Honestly, don't bother reading my review. Just do it. - Ronal is an absolute master in the kitchen. I really didn't know what to expect here, but holy crap this experience was awesome! The group I was supposed to join cancelled, so I had the privilege of a private experience, and Ronal is SO COOL. He was such a cool person to hang out with for a few hours, he is so fun to talk to, and on top of that he really knows what he is doing in the kitchen. He even was testing out new cocktails just for the fun of it! We first went to the market to grab some ingredients, and he gave me a little tour of the market and I got to try a whole bunch of different, unique fruits. His excitement for the cuisine of his country (and just food in general) was infectious. As for the menu, the pisco sour was actually the best one I've had in all of Peru. No joke. I literally could not stop drinking it. The Stuffed Peppers, and holy s*** the CEVICHE were incredible. And I got to make all of it! And he sent recipes at the end too so I can make it at home! I cannot recommend this enough, seriously. If you're in Cusco, do this.
