These ancient salt mines, also known as “Salineras de Maras,” date back to pre-Incan times and are an incredible sight to behold. Thousands of salt pools are carved into the mountainside, and they are still in use today by local families who harvest salt using traditional methods. The picturesque landscape of shimmering white salt terraces against the backdrop of the Sacred Valley is truly a unique experience.

Moray - Finally, visit the remarkable circular terraces of Moray.
