Highly Recommend! - I picked this since I thought it be an easier tour for our first day in Lima, I really should have given us a day to acclimate. We all felt fine initially (having flown in 5 hours earlier), but within the first 30 minutes or so two of my three kids were not feeling well at all (about to pass out/get sick in the market). Valentin was very understanding and did what he could to help (using some remedies, helping us buy food and drinks, etc.). My husband ended up bring those two back to our place to rest (he helped with that as well) and myself and my youngest continued on. He took us around to the main squares and gave us a lot of information on the history as well as daily life and customs. He answered all of our questions and was great with my daughter (13). He then helped us find my husband so he could rejoin and took us for our pisco sour and chicha (probably the best we had) tasting at a restaurant with a really great view of the main square. We then met up with a group for the drive up to the planetarium. We really enjoyed our tour and the guides there were really great. We got to use three different telescopes to see all of the constellations. It was very cool, especially coming from the Northern Hemisphere. We then had our chicken dinner which was really good and we got to chat about the politics of Peru, family life, he gave us info and tips for our Inca Trail hike we were going to on (he worked on the trail for 20 years!), and had tips to help our other two to help them feel better. We also discussed his charity work to improve the education of the kids in the countryside.
Overall, we had a really nice time and it was a great time to spend the evening and learn a lot about the region. We highly recommend Valentin and it was one of our favorite tours of the trip!

A fantastic evening in Cusco. - Cusco by Night is an excellent way to spend an evening and our guide, Jimmy, was an excellent host. We walked at a brisk, but not overly fast pace.
Jimmy is everything you'd want in a guide – knowledgeable, detail-oriented, attentive and friendly. We learned a bit about this history of the city and the culture.
The complimentary pisco sour was served on a rooftop lounge on one of Cusco's squares. The view was spectacular. We met the van a short time later and we're whisked off to the planetarium.
The planetarium experience was awesome. After a brief planetarium show, we went outside to stargaze using three high-powered telescopes. The Southern Cross, Big Dipper and other constellation were visible with the naked eye, but the telescopes added to the experience.
We finished the evening at a pollo a la brasa restaurant. The meal was simple, but delicious and the conversation with Jimmy was great.
From start to finish, the evening was perfect. The experience was so good because our host was invested in making the experience great. Jimmy loves what he does and it shows.
If I ever return to Cusco, I'd book this excursion in a heartbeat.

An evening under the stars in Cuzco - Such an interesting thing to do in Cuzco. It was informative and entertaining with excellent views of the stars. Jimmy was so willing to share his knowledge and was great company for the evening. We had to reschedule due to a late arrival and they were very accomodating.

Stars in Cusco - The Cusco by Night tour was an excellent beginning to our trip in Peru. Kenny showed us around the market and gave a tour of the Plaza de Armas, then we went up to the best roof top to view the city as it was coming alive at night, and tried our first Pisco Sour. The planetarium is small (and cold!) but Kenny and the planetarium crew are very passionate about the stars and it showed. Would highly recommend.

Lovely tour - We had a great time on this tour. Simon was very informative and engaging. We LOVE the planetarium and seeing Saturn and Jupiter through the telescope. But the highlight of the tour was seeing sunset from the rooftop of a local bar. The lighting and view were incredible. Would recommend!

Great guide. Great tour. And they have an even Greater you should ask about!!misson you - I was a bit nervous running around which is any tour guide company. My friend is more worldly than I and scheduled this and our guide did not disappoint! Not only did I feel safe we got great lessons about the city and country . The most fascinating was the not for profit they work with and help in the children in the high mountains with schools, chromebooks, skills and more! The dinner portion of our tour we got to meet his nephew who happened to be our guide at the planetarium and his beautiful Bonita! I hope to stay in contact and recommend using this company anytime!
