- Mercado Central de San Pedro - The tour begins with a pickup from your hotel in downtown Cusco between 15:00 and 15:30 (exact time will be confirmed the day before). We will then head to the traditional San Pedro market, bustling with locals and tourists alike. This market features numerous food stalls, with entire sections dedicated to fruit juices, snacks, and prepared meals. Here, you will get a glimpse into the daily lives of the locals and learn about the various products sold.
- Centro Historico De Cusco - Enjoy a drink made with exquisite Peruvian Pisco, a high-quality grape-based liquor comparable to international spirits like tequila and whiskey. The famous Pisco Sour, a cocktail recognized as a symbol of Peru, is crafted from this liquor.
- Planetarium Cusco - Next, we will travel to the Cusco Planetarium, located just 15 minutes from the city. Here, we will explore how the Incas interpreted the constellations. In the dome, we will enjoy a stunning projection of the starry sky, observing both official and Inca constellations and learning the stories behind them. Weather permitting, we will also use professional telescopes to observe numerous stars, nebulas, planets, and key constellations of the Southern Hemisphere.
- Centro Historico De Cusco - After the planetarium visit, we will return to the center of Cusco and head to a Polleria, a family-style restaurant where you can savor the iconic Pollo a la Brasa. This roasted chicken is golden brown, juicy, and perfectly cooked, offering tender meat infused with a blend of spices and flavors. Accompany your meal with Peru’s most famous soda, “Inka Kola.” The tour concludes with a stroll through the Plaza de Armas, beautifully illuminated at night, featuring the statue of Pachacutec Inka.
