Upper West Side Jewel - I'm back at the Hotel Belle Claire, my favor place to stay in NYC. The entire staff looks to make their guests happy and comfortable. Today I met Iga, who services the rooms. Her warm, friendly attitude in our brief conversation was uplifting! Clearly the management of this hotel has created a culture which puts the comfort and happiness of its client as the highest priority and it permeates throughout the entire staff!

Awesome Experience! - What a great tour! Tasty and educational - we learned a ton about the history of pisco, and (amazing) guide seamlessly put in the context of the greater history of Peru... all while walking around the Plaza de Armas and San Blas neighborhood.

Best Guide Ever - This was an incredible tour, and my Cusco highlight, all due to the tour guide Vayana. We spent several hours walking the historic section of Cusco, visiting two bars and learning how to make two Pisco-based drinks. My favorite bar, Bar Peru, is a locals joint with a rather engaging bartender, Italo. I describe him as an efficient drink maker, while my daughters describe him as handsome. You choose. I was so impressed with Vayana, the guide. With her years of experience as a trek guide she's a wealth of information and was simply fantastic. I would definitely take this tour again.

Fantastic Tour you Start Your Trip - This was a fantastic way to start our trip. We did this tour on our very first night in Cusco and Lilly gave us such great ideas of restaurants, stores, and activities to do for the rest of our trip. The drinks were delicious and fun to make. The best part was honestly learning about the history of Pisco and Cusco. I would 100% recommend doing this tour.

The yummiest of pisco - This tour was super cool- when I booked it I expected a more broad city tour but what we got was an in-depth look at the arts district behind the Plaza de Armas which I never would have seen but highly recommend. I loved Lily and she really helped us all get found to start the tour because the Plaza was crazy (get there early). The pisco sour making was such a treat! Daniel made it so easy to be the master and the drinks were to die for- especially the Genovese that I had for a later round. Definitely a fun night in Cusco! Loved the experience.

Fun and Informative! - The walking tour was really cool - we learned a lot about Cuzco and the history we wouldn't have learned if we didn't do it. But our tour guide was REALLY quiet. Making the Pisco Sours was so so so fun! We had a great group, and our teachers were awesome. Highly recommend!

TOTAL SCAM BUYER BEWARE - If there was a lower rating I would rate them that. It was a total SCAM!!! We were given a vague meeting place and some random guy who looked like he had been hoking for weeks called my name and made us walk an addition 20min to some obscure hole in the wall restaurant/bar. Once we were in we were guided towards the back to what looked like a space cleaning area where there was a old dirty and used sink dirty glasses a few bottles of liquor and a mop. It was utterly disgusting! The “bartender” who looked like she just got out of prison walked out wiping her hands with a dirty rag. We stopped immediately and said we can’t do this and stormed out. This was a UTTER SCAM! Nothing like was represented on the website. Horrible experience! BEWARE!!!
