• Ausangate Peru - Transportation will pick you up from your accommodation, preferably within the historic center of Cusco, and head to the community of “PACCHANTA.” Situated on the slopes of the snowy “Ausangate” at 4200 meters above sea level, this is where we will have a nutritious breakfast at approximately 7:30 a.m. Following breakfast, we will embark on a journey through the Andes mountain range to visit the “7 beautiful lagoons of Ausangate.” The initial walk will cover about 5 to 6 km.

The first lagoon will be reached in approximately 1:30 hours. We will then continue this captivating adventure, visiting other lagoons nestled in the Andes, surrounded by stunning fauna and flora. The entire journey will span about 10 km and take approximately 5 hours.

We will return to the community of “PACCHANTA” to enjoy the hot springs, followed by a delicious lunch.

Our return to Cusco is expected around 7:00 pm.

The One-Day Tour of Ausangate’s Seven Lagoons is ideally suited for enthusiasts of the natural world with a spare day, or for those visiting Cusco. This journey will offer an opportunity to marvel at rich biodiversity as we travel to the seven lagoons of Ausangate and the sacred mountains, also known as sacred Apus.

Points of interest include: Azulcocha Lagoon, Otorongo Lagoon, Oq’ecocha Lagoon, Pucacocha Lagoon, Pachaspata Lagoon, Alqacocha Lagoon, Q’omercocha Lagoon, and the thermal waters of the Pacchanta community.
