Wonderful cooking class (and then some!) in Cusco - We dd a private class with Bruce and he was fantastic! I usually do not write reviews but I wanted to make sure he got credit for providing a wonderful experience. We learned about ingredients used in Peruvian cooking, tasted a lot of different fruits/vegetables and a couple of small bites, in addition to making ceviche (which was actually better than the other ceviches we had at restaurants), pisco sour and chilcano drinks, and lomo saltado (which was made with tenderloin, a high quality cut). It was really a top experience for us. Bruce's English is great and he is also a tour guide -- had we known we would have booked him for Machu Picchu as well.

Wonderful afternoon with Alejandro! - My wife and I are so happy that we booked this culinary experience. It was a fantastic afternoon hosted by Alejandro in which we learned so much about not only the culinary delights found in Peru but also the rich history and geography of the country that result in such delights. The three hours flew by with the ceviche, Pisco Sour, and Lomo Saltado (all of which we learned to make ourselves) the highlights. But the best part of the experience was the highly knowledgeable and welcoming Alejandro who taught us so much.

A cooking class in Cusco - This class will give you a basic understanding of how to cook some of Peru's iconic dishes such as ceviche. It was fun, entertaining, and hands-on. I learned a lot about some of Peru's indigenous foods and cooking styles. The recipes were emailed to those of us requesting them. I highly recommend it.

A must do in cusco if you like the Peruvian kitchen - Great experience with someone who is passionate about food and products. Really interesting explanation about the peruvian kitchen, then cooking yourself and learning how to make a Pisco sour, or light version of Pisco cocktail. Last minute décision but really enjoyed ourselves

A fun cooking experience worth your while - Marcelo Batata’s cooking class was one of the highlights of our trip! The instructor was so engaging and made the class so much fun. The food was some of the best food we had in Peru and we made it ourselves, with good instructions. I would definitely recommend this taking this class if you are in Cusco.
