Fantastic experience, relaxing and unique - This is a fantastic experience, especially for those seeking something less "touristy". Gabriel is an amazing guide and speaks perfect English. I was the only person on the tour for the afternoon I went, and Gabriel was still super thorough and patient and did not skip anything. The horses are beautiful, tall, clean, well-groomed. You can tell Gabriel's family really loves and cares for them. I highly recommend this tour to enjoy some relaxing time and get to know the local communities better.

This ranch is highly recommended! - If you are looking for an adventurous tour on horseback in Cusco, then this ranch is a must! My boyfriend and I left on a private tour with Gabriel. We were given a safety helmet (a tok) and each a bag of snacks for during the trip. Very nice! The tour itself was too short for me, but my fiancƩ was glad it didn't take too long. We saw two beautiful Inca sites along the way and the trip was beautiful.

Gabriel is the best tour guide in all of Peru! - What a fun tour! I went on my honeymoon with my husband to peru for 11 days with tons of tours scheduled and this was the best tour! I have 20 years horseback riding experience, my husband had 0. Gabriel accommodated both of us allowing us to travel at comfortable speeds even in a group setting. He was very knowledgeable about the ancient sites we visited and clearly passionate about the history and culture. His ranch was impressive and the horses were all so friendly but definitely excited to get on the trail and get moving, which we loved because that was the energy we brought. 10/10 to Gabriel, his assistant, and the horses!

First time rider successfully managed! Amazing Experience! Thank you Gabriel! - It was an amazing experience! Itās my first time riding horses. I was kinda worried when arriving. However, Gabriel and his helper helped me a lot.
They led the horse āBonitoā, who is super sweet and friendly, to me, taught me how to control a horse and helped taking videos and pictures. When horses were scared by a motor cycle, they gave immediate response and instructions.
Bonito is kinda emulative when on an open grass area and wanted to catch up with the horse in front of him, but Gabriel went down his horse and helped leading Bonito so he wouldnāt jump and would behave better. It was on an uphill path and I know it was super difficult to catch breath when walking this much on a plateau. Thank you so much Gabriel! Muchos gracias ^-^
We also had a small snack lunch on a mountain, itās great!
It was such a great experience, I now know how to ride a horse (hopefully). If I ever had a chance to come to Cusco again, I will definitely try again!

The best and only option for riding in Cusco - Absolutely AMAZING experience at Gabrielās ranch, I couldnāt recommend it more. 100% commitment to both animal welfare and customer experience, the horses are very well taken care of and Gabriel proved to be a phenomenal local guide.
Worth noting many alternative tour providers keep their horses saddled and tethered all day in the sun (!) so I highly recommend going with Gabrielās ranch to guarantee you support the most ethical local business

Absolutely loved it - Had the absolute best time - Gabriel takes great care of the horses and is such a personable guide. We learned lots of history and had the most beautiful trek. One of the highlights of my time in Peru!

A beautiful time in Cusco - I had an amazing experience with Gabriel from GABRIELāS RANCH. The horses were well loved and part of the family. Gabriel was very knowledgeable and showed me a very special view of Cusco.
If you are blessed enough to find yourself in Cusco and have a few hours to spare, I highly recommend taking this tour. You wonāt regret it!

Best day in Peru so far! - One of the best and most authentic
experiences I have had in Peru, such a wonderful time! Gabriel's English is very good, and he seems very knowledgeable about the Incas and the old temple ruins around Cusco. I originally went just for the horses, but climbing into the caves associated with the temples was a whole adventure trip on top of the riding. Gabriel and all his team are lovely people, and most importantly very gentle with the horses. The family has had this ranch for almost a hundred years, they breed their own horses and put new shoes on them.
I have very little experience riding horses, and others in the group had none at all, but everyone still had a great time! And they also have horses suitable for more seasoned riders and offer lessons. Big recommendation, I wish I had time to stay in Cusco and take some lessons with them.

A highlight from our Peru trip! - We had a free day in Cusco and decided to ride horses the night before. When we arrived at the ranch we had booked the wrong ranch. We were supposed to go on a cheaper ride with a different ranch. We decided to make the best of it and go. We are so glad we spent the extra $ . This was a highlight of our peru trip. It was an incredible experience. This is a family run ranch and Gabrielās family has owned the ranch for generations. The horses were Peruvian Paso breed and they Gabriel the owner takes pride and treats them with love. It was apparent that Gabrielās passionate nature for his love of the Ranch. This is a must do in Cusco.
