Humantay Lake - Boarding the tourist bus that will take us to the town of Mollepata on a trip of approximately 2 hours before passing through beautiful and picturesque villages such as Poroy and Limatambo after arrive to Soraypampa town.

Our journey commences roughly between 4:00 am and 5:00 am as we set off in a tourist bus that will transport us to the Mollepata village after around 2 hours travel time. Once in Mollepata, we will indulge in a hearty breakfast before we proceed by bus to Soraypampa. From this point, we will start our trek upwards for nearly an hour to the gorgeous Humantay Lake.
This spot is ideal for capturing memories with photos, absorbing the scenic beauty, and admiring the lake’s crystal clear color. Following a period of sightseeing and exploration of the area, and viewing the Humantay mountain in the Vilcabamba range in the Andes accompanied by our guide providing insight about this wonderful location, we will then begin our descent back to Soraypampa. From this location, we can spot the trail of Salkantay and marvel at the sights of this sacred mountain, which holds the distinction of being the second tallest in the Cusco district.
Afterwards, we partake in a delightful lunch which will be followed by our return journey to the city with our expected arrival in Cusco around 5:00 p.m.
