Humantay Lake - Our Excursion begins with the pickup collection from your hotel about 04:30 am to 05:00 am.
Then we continue our journey in a private transport to the town of Mollepata famous for the Avocado Production in the area. Once we arrive there we will have a delicious breakfast and then continue to Soraypampa base camp (3900 m.a.s.l / 17.960 ft), from where hike begins for an hour and 45 minutes approximately to reach the Humantay Lake, surrounded by glaciers.
When we reach Humantay we will enjoy the beautiful turquoise lagoon. There you will take the best photos.
Then we will descend to Soraypampa to have lunch later in the afternoon we will return to Cusco by our Private transport.

Amazing tour! - Juan Carlos did such an amazing job as our tour guide for this hike! Born and raised in Cusco, he was super knowledgeable of the hike, the Incan traditions, the elevation, everything! I highly recommend!

Tour Hike with Jaun Carlos - I visited the lake with the wonderful Juan Carlos as a tour guide! He provided history and tradition when visiting in the lake and it was absolutely stunning. Couldn’t have been a better experience.

Amazing Experience with an Excellent Guide! - This hike was an unforgettable experience and our guide Juan Carlos made it even better. From encouraging us along the way to teaching us the history of the lake and area once we reached the top, he made the day trip absolutely worth it.

Moderately Challenging Hike, Gorgeous Views - The dark turquoise color of the lake with the glacier overhanging it, made for a one of a kind view. As I was still adjusting to the altitude, I did need to stop and catch my breath quite a few times, but I enjoyed the chance to push myself. It was well worth it in the end.

Amazing! - Had an absolute incredible experience. The weather was perfect which made for excellent photos. Judy was my tour guide, and I could not recommend her more. I experienced some troubles with the altitude coming from Florida, and Judy was encouraging and patient. She knew a lot about the area and all the best photo spots.

Highly Recommend! - Talk about a challenging but super rewarding hike! Our guides Luz and Ruth were THE BEST and I highly recommend going with them! They were not only knowledgeable about the area but very encouraging and helpful throughout the duration of the hike! The views won’t disappoint either and are 100x more breathtaking than the photos!

First Alpine Lake Hike - It was a tough ascent but worth it. The support and encouragement from the leaders Luz and Ruth made all the difference. The lake is beautiful.

100% recommend - The hike to Humantay was challenging but so rewarding. Humantay is breathtaking. Our guide, Edwin, was professional, very knowledgeable and patient. We took our time and made it all the way up! He also helped take some awesome shots. Thank you! 100% recommend.

Lake - This was a great experience that I recommend to fit people. It was very difficult but the view was worth it. The air was very thin and the mountain was steep but the lake was beautiful

Lake Humantay Day Hike - The hike itself was very challenging and steep. The views at the top were incredible and made the hike so worth it. Our guide, Juan Carlos, was so helpful, encouraging, and knowledgeable.
