Humantay Lake - Explore the Humantay Lake, located north of Cuzco behind the legendary Apu Salkantay snow-capped mountain. This trip is the best way to enjoy the landscape of the region from the beautiful lake to the snow-capped mountains.
From very early in the morning, spectacular views of the Andes of Cusco will be enjoyed over the course of 3 hours on the bus and in the middle of this course we will visit a local restaurant where we will enjoy our breakfast with an amazing view. In the Lake you will have some time to enjoy the place and take pictures and then we will go down again where the restaurant is located to relax and have a comforting lunch before returning to the city of Cusco where our service ends.

Book this tour! - It was an amazing day.
We did a private tour with Fausto (driver) and Eduardo (guide). I can really recommend them.

Magic moment - I loved the tour. The view of the lagoon is amazing and all the way up to it. The Tour Guide, Waldir, gave us a pleasant experience and took the best pictures. I managed to capture an avalanche on video. I definitely recommend it.

Humantay Lake wonderful experience! - It was such a beautiful experience 😍! The guide gave us enough information on our way. We were picked up at the hotel very early. We went to breakfast with the group at a nice place with a nature view. Upon return we lunched at the same place. The hiking journey was AMAZING! Its a long drive to Humantay and back, but the view is soo stunning and unforgettable. After hiking halfway we took a horseride 🐎 to go uphill to the lake. After seeing the lake and taking pictures we hiked all the way back. At the Humantaylake our guide TUPAC told us some history of the place, gave us information of the mountains and the lake. We are so grateful for the whole experience!🙏🏽 Las chicas carnosas de Aruba 😄😄

Great experience which I will never forget. - This trip was booked through Get Your Guide on the evening before the trip.

If you are in Cusco for a few days, come visit the snow-capped Humantay - Everything went very, very well on the excursion and on the walk. We just needed better weather to be able to contemplate the snow-capped mountains. The guide, Puma, did a great job, I recommend him. He took many pictures of us and had great advice. We were almost the first to arrive, so Laguna Humantay was for a few minutes alone for us.
The only thing I would try to improve was the lunch, although the place was very nice, I would have liked some dessert.

A must do! - If you have a day to spare in Cusco, this is an amazing experience.
The tour company were fantastic and the price is fantastic value for money; considering that your transport, breakfast and lunch are all sorted for you.
Although the pick up time for this tour is early (4am), it’s 1,000% worth it! We were the first tour group to arrive that I could see and an hour later, the place was packed. The early start meant we could get great photos and just take in the scenery in peace.
Our tour guide was Tupac and he was absolutely brilliant; a really personable guy, very knowledgable and very clearly passionate about his country.
I embarked on this activity with my sister (who has had a knee replacement) and my niece (11), we used horses for the walk up (80S, around £16 and well worth it!) and then walk down. The day was lovely, views were breath taking and all in all, the day will be a cherished memory for years to come.
I have used this company for the Rainbow Mountains excursion and am pleased to write that they are consistently great - being particularly sensitive to and well equipped for travellers suffering from altitude sickness. I cannot recommend this company enough.

Great tour - The place was incredible! It was a great experience. For those who need assistance due to height issues, they offer a horse riding service. The guide was Broly, very helpful, attentive and knowledgeable. Recommended.

Humantay Lagoon - A magical day! The walk is a bit difficult but the lagoon makes up for all the work. Thanks to Alejandra for coordinating, to our driver Jon for all his attention and to Tupac, our guide for being very attentive to us and making sure that we were as comfortable as possible making the trip. The service was 100% personalized at all times. The truck was extremely comfortable. Ask for Jon and Tupac if they are available! They are a dynamic duo😊
