Amazing experience! - Great Tour! Pick up and drop off was on time. Breakfast and lunch was nice with good vegan options too. The views were stunning and super Wally was the best tour guide we have had! Looked after us well and answered all our questions. We had plenty of time to stop and enjoy the lake and take pictures. We didn’t feel rushed. We would definitely recommend this tour with Wally!

Lake Humantay. - We had a wonderful experience with our tour to Lake Humantay, and we really enjoyed it. Our tour guy Wally was very knowledgeable, organized, and kind. He waited for us and was making sure we were ok, took lots of pictures, and also invited us to a ceremony at the top of the mountain. We really appreciate it and had a great time! The food was delicious and the restaurant was very organized.

Humantay Lake - I really enjoyed today's tour to Humantay Lake! Stunning scenery. If you got problem with high altitude you can rent a horse for 80 soles. Our guide was great! Highly recommended! 💫

Best Glacier and Lake View! - Overall great private experience and challenge for such a breathtaking view! If u plan to hike the entire trail, make sure your body is acclimatized and READY to climb! The elevation is not to be taken lightly! Luckily they are plenty of horses that can take you up most of the steepest part of the trail (for 80 soles cash) like i did or i highly doubt I would have made it to the top! Our guide and driver (Fran and Edwin respectively) were very friendly and great company to spend the entire day with!

Beautiful place - Beautiful lake, recommended to go. When there are crowds down I suggest you to go on the hills on sides where are less people and where is more quiet. We went with Judith and she was nice to us, enjoyed the tour

Humantay Lagoon with the Judith Guide - My Guide on this tour was Judith, and from the very beginning of the ride, she was extremely lentient. Judith was punctual in picking up and provided us with detailed information on the entire course, including the name of the mountains and other relevant data. The climb to the Lagoon was quite difficult, but Judith gave us total assistance at all times. He accompanied us during the hike, supplied "aguita de florida" to help us feel better and, seeing that my wife was very tired, recommended that I continue on horseback. I decided to keep walking, and once again, Judith was very attentive and gave me all the necessary assistance. Judith accompanied us to the end of the tour, making sure we were okay at all times. Their dedication and professionalism made this experience not only safe, but also unforgettable. I highly recommend taking a tour with her!

Great trip to Humantay Lake - Although the drive out and back is 3hrs each way, my husband and I loved visiting Humantay Lake with our tour guide Alex. We stopped 1hr away from the lake for a delicious buffet breakfast hosted in a “summer camp” style, where our bus and other tour busses were all at tables together. You also come back to the same location for lunch after the hike. Both meals are included in your ticket and are filling and cooked fresh. Once you get to the hike starting point, you can choose to ride a horse up the hill for 80 soles, or walk on foot. Beware that sometimes the horse paths are separate from the pedestrians, but sometimes you share a road. If you are on foot, be alert to horses coming up and down the trail. My husband and I decided to take horses because it allowed us to enjoy the amazing vistas more on the way up, and we hiked for 3 days before this trip, so it was nice to take the “easy” way out. You will have to walk a flat walk for 20min from the buses to the horses, then walk for 10min at an incline at the top once you get off your horse. Once at the top, we enjoyed the lake from above and below and met up with our tour guide Alex and the rest of our group for a traditional lesson/offering to Pachamama. The views were stunning of the surrounding mountains, the glacier, the vibrant blue lake when the sun shined onto it, and even the horses working up and down the mountain. It was really a surreal sight to see, and we would highly recommend. Thank you Alex for getting us there safe and guiding us when there. *note that you must bring $20 cash soles per person to enter the lake and $80 cash soles for a horse per person.
