- Aguas Calientes - The train ride takes approximately 1 and 45 minutes, passing through beautiful landscapes of the high Andes and the Cloud Forest. Upon arrival at the final train station, your tour guide will meet you and take you to the bus station for a 30-minute ride to Machu Picchu.
- Machu Picchu - You will arrive at the main gate of Machu Picchu around 10:00 am. Please bring your entry tickets and original passports to present at the gate before exploring Machu Picchu with your Peru Hikers expert guide.
- Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - Your tour guide will show you the most important buildings, including the viewpoints, guard house, terraces, temples, palaces, and more.
- Machu Picchu - A two-hour guided tour awaits, filled with historical insights and ample opportunities for capturing the iconic beauty of this ancient wonder.
- Aguas Calientes - Following the tour, a bus ride takes you to Aguas Calientes. You’ll then catch a train back to Ollantaytambo

Isao is just a fantastic guide. - Simply amazing service, our guide Isao was very knowledgeable and helped us navigate everything. He was able to answer all our questions. He never rushed my elderly parents as we navigated Machu Picchu stairs. He even took family pictures for us.

Amazing Trip with the best guide! - Peru Hikers is the best tour company! They communicated at each step of the way, the guides were on time and knowledgeable. Isao was a fantastic guide! We learned about the history of Machu Picchu, the Incan people and ended with a delicious lunch.
I HIGHLY recommend Peru Hikers!

Great tour! - We had a great day on Peru Hikers tour via the vistadome train and day trip at Machu Picchu —each step of the way we met a kind and helpful tour guide from hotel pick up to the train to the bus and all the way up to the site! Isao was the best guide and was very knowdledeable!

a once in a lifetime experience, simply the best 🇵🇪 - truly worth all the time, effort and energy spent here in Macchu Picchu, made better by our energetic and helpful guide, Isao Mayta Perez. Perhaps once in a lifetime may not be quite enough 🇵🇪

Best Guide to Macchu Pichu Mr. Isao! - Since the moment I booked the tour 3 months ago I was very well served. The service team responded promptly to all my questions and was always very attentive at all times of the tour (initial service / reception in Aguas Calientes and transfer / taxi). I thank in particular the Guide Mr. Isao, who showed us incredible details of the Shrine of Machu Pichu, explaining the story with illustrations and examples, in addition to positioning us for the best photos and waiting for the best moment due to the bad weather. It was an amazing experience and I recommend it!

Fantastic once in a life experience! - We wehad a fantastic time on this Machu Picchu tour! The train ride was great and relaxing, and the site was so fantastic! Isao was The best tour guide ever! He met us at the train got us on the bus to go up to the mountain. Took great pictures and explained everything about the site. It was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had and we highly recommend this tour!

A marvelous tour - An unbelievably great guild that described everything and answered any questions we had. We even took him to lunch he was so good. The train ride was fun. He did a great setting up all passes and accompanied us on train an bus.

Incredible Experience In Machu Piccu - We had the best experience in Machu Piccu with Isao our tour guide. Very knowledgeable and was passionate about what he did. He also cared about our experience more than anything with my wife and I’s first time in Peru. I would recommend asking for him specially if you can. His company also took care of a hiccup that happened and truly cared we had a good experience in one of the most beautiful places you’ll ever experience in the world.

Peru Hikers delivers! - My day at Machu Picchu with Peru hikers was perfect. From start to finish they set me up with an incredible day that went off without a hitch. The Observatory Vistadome train was incredible – you’ve got views of the mountains around you through the glass ceiling and walls, while a band plays and dancers dance around you. Then, someone met me at Aguas Calientes to make sure I got from the train station to the bus station and all the tickets were sent to me in advance so that there were no problems. Once I got to Machu Picchu, I was lucky enough to have Isao as my guide. He knew everything about the history, archaeology and natural beauty of Machu Picchu and the surrounding region. He took me wherever I wanted to go on the circuit and basically spent the entire day with me, answering all my questions and making sure I drank a lot of water. He will make sure you have the best photos that you will always have to remember the day. He’s also just an incredible person with an amazing life story and a beautiful heart. I cannot say enough good things about him and Peru hikers. If you’re considering this tour company, don’t go anywhere else! You won’t regret it!
