- Ollantaytambo - The return journey begins with a train ride back to Ollantaytambo, departing at either 4:22 pm or 6:10 pm. From there, depending on availability, a bus will ensure a smooth transfer back to the meeting point, wrapping up the unforgettable excursion.

Great service from start to end! - Great service from the start to end! Peru Hikers impressed me with their consistent speedy responses to my inquiries. I’ve contacted multiple tour agencies for my South America trip and Peru Hikers is definitely the fastest amongst all I contacted in replying. We liked that Peru Hikers helped arrange transportation to pick us up and drop us off at our hotel in the Sacred Valley at a reasonable cost. We also appreciate the great seats selected for us on the Vistadome train. Our guide, Isao is super knowledgeable and passionate about Machu Picchu. We learnt a lot on this tour and were very happy with the great photos Isao took for us. Isao also made sure that our driver picked us up from Ollantaytambo train station. Our driver showed up on time for both the pick up and the drop off, and got us to our destinations timely and safely. Huge thank you for everyone at Peru Hikers who helped organize this amazing tour for us!

Best day and guide ever! - Peru Hikers and our guide Isao were the absolute best. We did the Machu Picchu day trip and full day Rainbow Mountain trips from Cusco on back to back days. The attention to detail in all the travel plans and the organization was top tier. On the tour Isao was extremely knowledgeable of all the details, moved at our pace, and more than anything a blast to hang out with. Also, added bonus — Isao was an amazing photographer! I can’t recommend Peru Hikers enough will be coming back to do more with them in the future.

Best experience - I had an amazing trip to Machu Picchu with our wonderful guide Isao. We had a great time viewing circuit 2. The entire process from the hotel pick up to the bus and train was seamless. Isao was very knowledgeable about the ruins and any question I had, he knew the answer to it. He is extremely friendly and very helpful. He made sure that we got to the train on time and confirmed again that we were on it via text. Great person and excellent guide. I would truly recommend the company and Isao as the guide if you are lucky enough to get him. Also he takes really great pictures which is a plus.

Best tour in the Americas - From start to finish, the whole experience has been magnificent. The company was very well organised, communicated well and exceeded expectations in every sense. To start, the booking process was clear and easy. Once in Cusco we were given very clear instructions and details about the expedition. They were responsive and provided great attention to detail to provide the best, bespoke experience. The best part by far was the tour guide for Machu Picchu, Isa, who was extremely knowledgeable and better than most professional photographers. Isa made sure we experienced the best of Machu Picchu - from the transport to food and everything in between. I can not stress how brilliant this experience was!

Spectacular day, the best guide, amazing service - Excellent service from booking the tour and throughout, very communicative with sending tickets in advance, the experience on the day was seamless and wonderful. The vistadome train provided spectacular views. Isao was the best guide, very informative, knew everything we needed to know about the history of Machu Picchu and guided us around the beautiful site. He was the best photographer and we have many beautiful photos to remember this special day. I highly recommend them.

Perfect day at Machu Picchu! - I had the absolute pleasure of exploring Machu Picchu with Isao as my guide, and it was an unforgettable experience. Isao’s deep knowledge of the history and culture surrounding Machu Picchu truly brought the site to life for me. He didn’t just point out landmarks; he shared fascinating stories and insights that made me appreciate the wonder of the place even more.
Beyond his expertise, Isao went above and beyond to ensure the experience was personal and enjoyable. He recommended some incredible food spots that gave me a true taste of the region. And as someone who loves capturing memories, I was blown away by his photography skills! Everywhere we went, Isao took stunning photos of me, ensuring I could cherish this adventure forever.
