- Cusco - Your adventure to Machu Picchu begins with a meeting point pick-up between 4:30 am and 4:45 am, setting off for a train journey filled with stunning vistas.
- Aguas Calientes - En route, you’ll be captivated by the Inca landscape featuring snow-capped peaks, lush sub-tropical jungles, and ancient Inca agricultural terraces. The train brings you to Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo, where your guide will be waiting to escort you on a 25-minute bus ride to the Machu Picchu citadel.
- Machu Picchu - Upon arrival, you’ll embark on a 3-hour guided tour of the site. Your guide will enlighten you on Inca history and culture, highlighting the citadel’s key areas. Post-tour, you’ll have leisure time to wander and discover Machu Picchu at your own pace. Back in Aguas Calientes, you have the option to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
- Ollantaytambo - Your return journey commences with a train ride back to Ollantaytambo, departing either at 15:20 or 16:22 pm. From there, Peru Hikers’ private bus will ensure your smooth transfer back to meeting point, concluding your memorable excursion.

Wonderful experience in Machu Pichu! - My experience was amazing, machu pichu is a magical place and the agency made sure to make me feel calm and cared for from the hotel to the return. The Isao guide was excellent, he made sure not only that he knew the story but also that he took Top-rated memories.

My best experience ever - Machu Picchu is always in my bucket list and i’m so glad i had made it possible today. Had it not been for Mr.Isao my trip would not have been perfect. He’s very professional and i do appreciate his attitude and friendship. I would recommend him and Peru Hikers to everyone.

My Best Experience in Machu Picchu - The views at Machu Picchu are breathtaking. We really have a wonderful experience today. It’s a journey of the lifetime indeed. Thanks to Mr.Isao, our guide tour. He’s very nice, helpful, polite, informative and know exactly what customers want. He also helps me carry my heavy bag and encourages me to take my time while i have problems walking up the staircases. We admire even more because he’s also a professional photographer helping us taking beautiful photos along the way. I’ll recommend my friends and family to book Peru Hikers and request for this guide tour.

Best day at Machu picchu - We had the best morning with Isau who was our guide at a private tour of Machu Picchu! We learned a lot of interesting inca history and he also served as a great photographer! We highly recommend going with Peru hikers!

Once in a lifetime experience! - We had a wonderful time on this tour. Isa was a great tour guide who took us around Machu Picchu and explained the history. They picked us up from our AirBNB and got us to the bus and the train. Aqua Caliente is a cute town so try to spend a few hours there after the tour if you can (we took the later train so we could). Great experience and we would highly recommend seeing this 7th wonder of the world.
