Really Fun - Great value, really fun. Bus visits many points of interest with numerous stops to get off and explore. Start time was right on!

Absolutely worth it! - This is a great way to see the city in a short period of time. The guide was knowledgeable and spoke good English. The sacred ceremony was special and a great touch. I was impressed with all we saw and did in such a short time. And the double decker bus was just a fun experience overall. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Cusco. We did it on our last day there, and I wish we would have done it our first day. It was affordable and well worth the price we paid. I would do it again.

Fun Bus tour - the day after touring Machu Picchu I was super beat but still wanted to do something so my hotel suggested the Open bus since I didn't want to do all the walking. This was perfect I saw all the City of Cusco sights without having to get off the bus which worked for me. We did make a couple of stops. 1 was for an Ica ritual with I totally welcomed and also was able to take a few pics with llamas. Then we stopped to see the Christo Blanco and take some pics which was really awesome because of the views. I didn't really like the hustle on the bus 1 girl tried to sell us some liquid and then they tried to sell us a picture of ourselves but it didn't ruin my day I would recommend this tours for those who want to only see the outside of Cusco city sights.

Very good service and guide. Ideal when you have little time. - We thought it was a very good option to get to know the city and its tourist attractions since we had little time and no mobility.

Good experience - Overall a good experience. I was not feeling well due to altitude sickness but still wanted to do a low energy activity that would allow me to see more parts of Cusco. The tour started about 40 minutes late and there was a bit of a walk slightly up hill to get to the actual bus. However, the sights we saw were definitely worth it. The most interesting thing we participated in was a traditional shaman ritual. I would definitely wear warm clothes as it got quite cold up top on the bus. Overall, would recommend.

Tour needs improvement - When we got to the “meeting place” we were taken down to the plaza to meet with the others going on the tour, then had to walk several more blocks to the bus. This wasn’t in the explanation, and why not say meet at the plaza?? The seats on top were small, seatbelts didn’t work, and it was very full. English speakers were in the minority. The guide was down on the bottom level of the bus and it was hard to hear his explanations. Everything was in Spanish first and then English. His English was much better than my Spanish but sometimes hard to understand. Enjoyed the overall views of Cusco. Had photos taken by some photographer for the tour but never saw them. When we stopped at a village where they sold alpaca, etc, the entire explanation was in Spanish with no English translation. I guess you get what you pay for. My bad for not booking something better.

English comments non-existent - Comments supposedly in English should have been optional because the tour was only in Spanish. Really nice ! Thanks to the organizer.

Scam to get Sol out of your pocket - The views were amazing. The rest of the tour was the tour guide allowing locals to board the bus to sell us products. Also the sound system was awful and you couldn't understand one word from the tour guide. Wouldn't recommend.

Lots of room for improvement - First, the good. The price was right for this tour. The views were amazing from the upper deck. However, the execution was really bad. There are lots of little things they could do to improve this tour. Here is my constructive criticism: 1) the PA system in the bus is really weak and garbled (two things you don’t want in a PA system). You can’t really hear the narration when you are on the top deck. Everyone was on the top deck, because that is the only way you can see the sights. We had no idea what we were seeing or the descriptions of each. The reverb is set super high, and the speakers/PA are too weak to reach the deck. They have no speaker on the deck, even though that’s where everyone sits. 2) the shaman ceremony was a disaster. First, the tour guide did not adequately describe what the Shaman was doing. He also didn’t really describe the significance of the ceremony or what it was for. It would have been far better if the guide described that information in detail. We didn’t know what the Shaman was doing, what it meant or anything. I am sure it had a great deal of significance, but with no context it was just weird and random. Also, the guide should have explained to participants the solemn nature of the ceremony. Because participants had no idea what was going on or the significance, they acted foolish - dancing around, gyrating and generally making fun of the Shaman. The Shaman was rightfully and visibly upset by all of this nonsense. This was very offensive as it disrespected this man’s religion. First, the participants should not have acted like that. It was disrespectful. However, if the guide would have explained the process ahead of time and stressed how solemn of a process this was and to not make fun on it, this cultural error could have been avoided. I am sure the company will reply to this review that the Shaman understands that tourists will act foolish, however, it is the responsibility of the guide to adequately explain everything and proactively try to prevent such things. 3) the guide spoke broken English, at best. The descriptions were supposed to be in Spanish and English. You couldn’t effectively understand the guide when he was speaking English. Even when we were off the bus and he didn’t have the messed up speaker system, you could not understand what he was saying. This took away greatly from the tour. With a few changes, this would be a 5 star tour. Sadly, it is not. Nowhere near.

Worst tour in Cusco - I believe it is the worst tour in Cusco. If you have 2 hours to waste in the city, go do it. People only take you outside the ruins, there's no option to enter, then they take you to a village just to try to sell you clothes and green corn.
