• Cerro Colores Palcoyo Checacupe - Begin the tour with a morning hotel pickup between 4:30 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. Then, enjoy a 1.5-hour drive to the small community of Chiara, where a light and delicious breakfast awaits to fuel the journey ahead.

Upon reaching the base of Palcoyo, receive a safety briefing and an overview of the hike. The hike to Palcoyo takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. The Andes Mountains will reveal their vibrant colors and stunning peaks, including the Ausangate snow peak. Spot wildlife such as camelids, take photos, and enjoy short breaks to soak in the landscape. Afterward, return to the lunch point before heading back to Cusco, arriving around 5:00 or 5:30 p.m.

The drop-off is at Plaza Regocijo, just 2 blocks from Plaza de Armas, an ideal spot for further exploration of the historic center. (Please note that the remaining time will be spent traveling from pick-up to drop-off).
