Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain - We will be passing by your accommodation wherever you are staying, preferably within the historic center of the city of Cusco, the pick-up starts at approximately 4:00 am.
Then we will head to the south of Cusco , to the town of Cusipata where we will have our first stop to have breakfast.
Before reaching the town of Palccoyo we will make a stop to take some photos of the attraction of the colonial bridge and the Inca bridge.
Arriving at the Palccoyo Mountain (4,900 masl), we will have free time to photograph and enjoy the place. We will also be able to observe part of Nevado Ausangate.
We will return to the parking lot to return to Cusipata where we will have lunch and finally we will return to the city of Cusco (arrival approximately at 18:00 hrs), our mobility will leave you one block from the Plaza de Armas (Plaza Regocijo ) - Cusco - tour finish

From there, we’ll journey southwards to the town of Cusipata for our first stop and breakfast. Your pick-up will begin from your chosen lodging, ideally located in Cusco’s historic city center, at around 4:00 am. From there, we’ll journey southwards to the town of Cusipata for our first stop and breakfast. On our way to Palccoyo town, we’ll pause for photographing the scenic views of the colonial and Inca bridges. Once we reach Palccoyo Mountain (4,900 meters above sea level), you’ll enjoy some leisure time for photography and sightseeing, including views of Nevado Ausangate. We’ll then make our way back to the parking area, before returning to Cusipata for lunch. Our trip concludes in Cusco city at approximately 6:00 pm, with drop-offs within a block of the Plaza de Armas (Plaza Regocijo).

The tour was beautiful and was not very tiring with the colorful mountain would be... - Guia Pablo was great. I recommend!!! Guided very well the tour, advised us to change a tour that saved our lives.!

A breathtaking day! - What an incredible day! After reading reviews about Vinicunca (Rainbow mountain) and how busy it is there my son and I chose to do the Palccoyo Mountain tour. It was amazing! Our guide, Pablo, was fantastic, fun, and informative, the breakfast and lunch were wonderful, and the mountains were breathtaking. It had snowed a bit too so we were able to see the main colored mountains clear, and also the snow on the mountains all around us. The rock forest was also beautiful. And there were only about 30 of us on the entire mountain, so my son and I felt pretty alone there with no crowds and this beautiful vast mountain all around us. The walk was easy and we had no issues with the altitude. The drive in and out was so pretty. We also stopped off to see an Incan bridge on the way back to Cusco which was really cool too.

Magical hike between mountains - Beautiful place, advisable to go with sunglasses and sunscreen. The whole way had beautiful views between snow-capped mountains and colorful mountains 🌈

Amazing experience - Excellent experience, very friendly guide, took us at a good pace so the hike to high altitude, incredible scenery, food both breakfast and lunch very good and varied, instructions before and during the experience, it is worth it. Not suitable for people who did not adjust to height.

Disappointing : be careful before choosing this tour... - In fact, it was a very disappointing experience, even we can be satisfied at the end of the day... We book this tour 3 months in advance to be sure to do it. One day before, the agency confirm by WhatsApp our pick up time. But at the right time (4.40am), the guide told us that the van had a problem and cancelled the tour!!!!
We are not sure about that, but as we were the only person on the WhatsApp talk ( not like usually with guide and all the customers) and only our hotel as a pickup (not the list with pick up order), we think that we were the only customers and they cancel because of that... and not because of a van trouble. After that, why giving 2 stars and not 0? We ask if other tour available (yes, at 4.40am!) on WhatsApp and they propose us the classic rainbow mountains. It was not our choice, as we been to this place 8 years ago and would like to discover other area of Cusco. But as we already wake up, and not in a good mood to come back sleeping, we accept the proposal. The guide was nice and we can visit (again) rainbow mountain and for the first time red valley as we didn't went there 8 years ago(nice place). So, the 2 stars are not for the tour we did, but because of the cancellation at 4.40 and doing a tour that we not bought (even if it was a nice tour).
