Highlights
- Centro Historico De Cusco - The pick up time will be between 04:30 to 05: 00 in the morning (we suggest acclimatize at least two days in the city of Cusco before starting this tour) once together with the whole group we will head south of Cusco for approximately 2h30m, until we reach the district of Pitumarka.
- Pitumarca - It is here where we will have our delicious breakfast, then we will continue our journey to the district of Combapata, then for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to the left bank of the Salka River, on an unpaved road, we will continue our journey, in this stretch we will see native alpacas in beautiful mountain scenery.
- Palcoyo Rainbow Mountain Third View - We will arrive to the community of Palccoyo, located at 4100 meters, from this point we will have privileged views of the colorful mountain range of Palccoyo, with its three mountains of visible colors, as well as we will enjoy the view of the great valley of stones. This is an excellent option for people who do not like to walk, your guide will give you the option of a 40 minute hike to reach the highest parts to better see the three red hills and the forest of stones.
- Pitumarca - Afterwards we will return to Pitumarca, where we will have our lunch of Peruvian food.
- Centro Historico De Cusco - Finally we will return to the city of Cusco, the transportation will drop you off at your hotel.

Palcoyo presence - incredible - A bit of an out of the way location, required a couple of hours by bus,(hence not so busy/spoilt) followed by a steady oxygen deprived stroll up (and up again) a well made path to reach the top via a couple of well received 'staging' posts. Well worth the effort; colours and vistas simply and naturally amazing, staggering/memorable/outstanding (add other suitable adjectives)
You'll need some change for the banios at the vehicle park though and some for the photo's with the Llamas Champion and Jorge at the top!
