PICK UP FROM THE AIRPORT - CITY TOUR

Velasco Astete - A representative from Chullos Travel Peru will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Enjoy a free morning to rest and acclimate.

Cusco Cathedral - At 2:00 pm, meet at the main square to begin the tour. The first stop is Koricancha (Temple of the Sun) for a 45-minute guided tour, followed by a 30-minute drive to Sacsayhuaman (from Quechua Saqsay = place of satiation and Waman = Falcon, meaning “place where the Falcon is satiated”). Next, visit Qenqo (Ritual Center on a rocky outcrop), a place of great mysticism. After a 15-minute drive, arrive at PucaPucara (red fortress), a military construction. The last stop is Tambomachay, known as the Inca Bath, where water rituals were performed. Return to Cusco around 7:00 pm.

SACRED VALLEY OF THE INKAS - AGUAS CALIENTES

Sacred Valley of the Incas - We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 am to start the tour of the Sacred Valley. After a 1.5-hour drive, we will arrive at the archaeological site of Pisaq for a 1-hour guided tour. Traveling along the Willkamayu River, we will reach Urubamba, the capital of the Sacred Valley, for a buffet lunch featuring typical Andean food. After lunch, a 30-minute drive will take us to the town of Ollantaytambo to visit the archaeological site, including the Temple of the Sun, The Intihuatana, and the Princess Baths and Andean terraces, with a 1-hour guided tour. Then, we will head to the train station to board a train to Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night. The guide will visit your hotel in the evening to provide details for your visit to Machu Picchu.

LOST CITY OF THE INKAS MACHUPICCHU

Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - We will wake up early to take a bus to the ruins of Machu Picchu. Enjoy a guided tour, the duration of which depends on the type of entry ticket. After the tour, return to the village for lunch and free time before taking the train back to Ollantaytambo and then a bus to Cusco. Arrival time will depend on the train schedule.

RAINBOW MOUNTAIN

Vinicunca Mountain - At 4:00 am, we will pick you up from your hotel and head to the district of CUSIPATA. At 6:30 am, we will arrive in CUSIPATA for a 30-minute buffet breakfast. At 7:00 am, we will depart for the WASIPATA area, arriving around 8:00 am to start the 1.5-hour trek to the MOUNTAIN OF COLORS (WINICUNCA). Spend about 40 minutes at the mountain before a 1.25-hour return trek. At 12:00 pm, we will regroup and return to CUSIPATA for a buffet lunch, then head back to Cusco, arriving around 5:30 pm.

HUMANTAY LAKE

Humantay Lake - At 4:00 am, we will pick you up from your hotel and travel to Mollepata for breakfast. We will then continue to Soraypampa to begin a 1.5-hour hike to the Humantay Lagoon, situated at 4,250 meters above sea level. Enjoy the local flora and fauna during the hike. After descending to Soraypampa, we will return to Mollepata for lunch and then head back to Cusco, arriving around 6:00 pm.

Q’ESWACHACA BRIDGE

Qeswachaka Peru Tours - The tour begins with a 7:00 am pick-up from your hotel. After a two-hour drive south of Cusco, we will visit four lagoons and the small Pabellones volcano near Yanaoca. We will then arrive at the impressive Inca bridge made of vegetable fiber (Ichu) over the Apurímac River in Quehue. This bridge dates back to the Inca period and is maintained annually by local communities. We will have the chance to cross the bridge and later visit the Inca colonial bridge of Checacupe. The tour ends in Cusco around 5:00 pm.
