PICK UP FROM THE AIRPORT - CITY TOUR
Sacsayhuaman - A representative from Chullos Travel Peru will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Enjoy a free morning to rest and acclimate. At 2:00 pm, you’ll be picked up from the hotel for a city tour, starting with a 45-minute guided visit to Koricancha (Temple of the Sun). Afterward, a 30-minute drive will take you to Sacsayhuaman (from Quechua Saqsay = place of satiation and Waman = Falcon, meaning “place where the Falcon is satiated”). Next, visit Qenqo, a mystical ritual center on a rocky outcrop. A 15-minute drive will then bring you to PucaPucara (red fortress), a military construction. The last stop is Tambomachay, known as the Inca Bath, where water worship took place. The tour concludes with a return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 7:00 pm.
SACRED VALLEY OF THE INKAS - AGUAS CALIENTES
Sacred Valley of the Incas - The tour begins at 8:00 am with a hotel pick-up. After a 1.5-hour drive, you’ll arrive at the archaeological site of Pisaq for a guided tour of about an hour. Following the sacred river Willkamayu, you’ll reach Urubamba, the capital of the Sacred Valley, for a buffet lunch featuring typical Andean cuisine. A 30-minute drive will then take you to Ollantaytambo, where you’ll have a one-hour guided tour of the archaeological site, including the Temple of the Sun, The Intihuatana, the Princess Baths, and Andean terraces. Afterward, you’ll head to the train station to board a train to Aguas Calientes, where you’ll spend the night. In the evening, your guide will visit your hotel to provide details for your Machu Picchu visit.
LOST CITY OF THE INKAS MACHUPICCHU
Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - Early in the morning, you’ll take a bus to the lost city of the Incas, Machu Picchu, for a 2.5-hour guided tour. Afterward, you’ll have free time in Aguas Calientes for lunch. Then, you’ll head to the train station to return to Ollantaytambo, where a Chullos Travel representative will meet you and transfer you back to Cusco and your hotel. Note: Machu Picchu tickets are subject to availability and are sold exclusively by the Ministry of Culture of Peru. Tickets will be purchased based on available circuits (1 and 2). Other circuits may be available for an additional charge. If no tickets are available, you will receive a full refund of your tour package.
MARAS-MORAY
Salinas de Maras - The tour starts at 8:00 am with a hotel pick-up, heading to the town of Maras. After passing through Maras, you’ll visit Moray, an agricultural laboratory considered a magnetic center of Pachamama, for a 40-minute guided tour. Next, a 30-minute drive will take you to the salt mines “salineras” for a one-hour guided tour, with time for shopping for salt or souvenirs. The tour concludes with a return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 3:00 pm.
RAINBOW MOUNTAIN
Vinicunca Mountain - At 4:00 am, you’ll be picked up from your hotel and head to the district of CUSIPATA, arriving at 6:30 am for a 30-minute buffet breakfast. The journey continues to the WASIPATA area, arriving at around 8:00 am. You’ll then start a 1.5-hour trek to the MOUNTAIN OF COLORS (WINICUNCA), with a 40-minute visit at the summit. The return trek takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. At noon, you’ll regroup and head back to CUSIPATA for a buffet lunch, then return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 5:30 pm.
HUMANTAY LAKE
Humantay Lake - At 4:00 am, you’ll be picked up from your hotel and travel to Mollepata for breakfast. The tour continues to Soraypampa, where you’ll begin a 1.5-hour hike to the Humantay Lagoon, situated at 4,250 meters above sea level. Enjoy the local flora and fauna during the hike. After descending to Soraypampa, you’ll return to Mollepata for lunch and then head back to Cusco, arriving at approximately 6:00 pm.
INCA BRIDGE OF Q’ESWACHAKA
Qeswachaka Peru Tours - The tour begins at 7:00 am with a hotel pick-up. After a two-hour drive south of Cusco, you’ll visit four lagoons and the small Pabellones volcano near Yanaoca. Next, you’ll arrive at the impressive Inca bridge made of vegetable fiber (Ichu) over the Apurímac River in Quehue. This bridge dates back to the Inca period and is maintained annually by local communities. You’ll have the chance to cross the bridge and later visit the Inca colonial bridge of Checacupe. The tour ends in Cusco at approximately 5:00 pm.
