The decoration of its interiors is the most impressive of the enclosure. It has a collection of canvases from the Cusqueña School that represents the life of San Pedro: with gold leaf frames, a majestic organ, silver metalwork and a baroque altar.

Commence your exploration at Tipon, an immaculately conserved archaeological site located 27 kilometers away from Cusco. Situated near a village sharing its name, you’ll find a remarkable colonial-era estate from 1650, alongside 12 actively farmed terraces, various structures, and an irrigation network hailed as a marvel of hydraulic engineering, still in use by locals. Proceed to Pikillacta which traces back to the Wari civilization, recognized as one of the most intact pre-Inca urban spaces in Peru. This area showcases over 700 edifices across 3000+ hectares, incorporating multi-story stone and adobe constructions, finely-honed terrace craft, and a rock-engraved condor figure. Conclude your expedition in Andahuaylillas, a town located 40 kilometers from Cusco, home to the Andahuaylillas Church, its crowning jewel. Often referred to as the ‘The Sistine Chapel of America’, the church is renowned for its exquisite artistry, including a uniquely restored antique pipe organ.
