Amazing - and with bonus detour - Another amazing part of Peru’s nature. Rainbow mountain is as spectular as advertised (but also very busy ..) - and do take the small walking detour to see the Red Valley (just as spectacular and very few people). A bit of confusion on the length and requirements of the hike. We ended up with 2.5km up (tough but managable in slow tempo … from 4600m to 5000m) and same down (+ the Red Valley detour). Dora “the explorer” was our very good, caring and enthusiastic guide.
