The Temple of the Moon, or Amaru Marca Wasi, is one of Cusco’s most important mystical attractions. Here, you’ll leave the horses behind and walk around to recharge your energies amidst the serene surroundings. The journey is guided by experienced professionals who ensure a safe and enriching experience.
“Fantastic short adventure from Cusco. This was a fantastic experience and highly recommended for anyone who is okay with riding horses. From hotel pickup to drop off, this was probably only ~3.5hrs. There was a solid 2-2.5 hours for the trek which included two stops at Incan ruins. Considering you are only about 25mins outside Cusco, you feel like you’re in the Andean countryside. The horses were very well trained and we alternated between walking and a good gallop which was thrilling and a touch jarring. The scenery was majestic and our guide Holger was fantastic.” - Reviewed on 2024-04-17
