Love the history of Cusco - The rain made our tour even more magical than we anticipated. Ana was knowledgeable about the area and gave us valuable information about the sites that we visited today.

4 archeological sites in 4 hours - Jose Aguilar arrived on time at the hotel for pickup and we were a group of 8 people. He explained the 4 sites in great detail in both Spanish and English. At Sacsayhuaman (the largest of the 4 sites) we stayed nearly 2 hours touring the ruins and hearing the history. Looking at the large stones and imagining how the Inca's moved them into their location was amazing. From there we drove to Tambomachay to see the water fountains, Puca Pucara the fortress, and Q`enqo a holy place where sacrifices took place; we stayed about 30 minutes at each place which was sufficient. At the end we stopped at a local store specializing in alpaca wear. The 4 hour tour gave you an opportunity to visit 4 archeological sites near Cusco and have you back for lunch in the city.

Definitely recommend - I really enjoyed this tour. The guide was very knowledgeable. He really made me feel comfortable and included since I was the only one who needed an English translation. Sacsayhuamen was my favorite site of the tour.

Expect the unexpected - Interesting tour but don’t expect the full time at Sacsayhuaman; this will be cut short so you can “enjoy” an unscheduled stop at a textile shop #fleeced
