A Great Taste of Cuzco! - The entire tour was an experience, beginning with making Pisco Sours. The second stage was fresh trout and a wonderful potato dish like no other! The third was an experience tasting grilled meats, and lastly hot picones.

Time extremely well spend - One of the better food tours I’ve had! Our tour guide Christina was amazing and extremely knowledgeable about Peruvian cuisine and culture! Tour started at a very nice restaurant where we changed rooms a couple of times and tried some fancy appetizers and Peruvian cocktails. After that we moved out in a town to try the street food!

Delicious Peruvian food in Cusco - Omg.. I can go on, & on about this tour; & to think I contemplated on whether or not to book it... Thank goodness I did!!
My adult daughters, & I did the tour, & it was such a wonderful experience!
Our tour guide Christina was so patient, kind, friendly, & knowledgeable. We really weren't expecting to take so many stops.. In addition to learning more about Peruvian cuisine; at the end of the night, we were stuffed, lol
Please take this tour, & hopefully you'll get Christina... You won't regret it.

Awesome culinary experience! - I primarily book tours through Viator when traveling, b/c they offer the best tours at the most competitive rates. The communication is top notch, and the tours are always well put together. This specific tour, was awesome.. We were running late (we got lost - Sigh!), however typical Viator, I was able to communicate with the tour guide, and she was able to direct us to where she was waiting. Our tour guide (Christina) was not only patient; she was kind, professional, knowledgeable, & had an overall awesome vibe. She took us to restaurants, and street vendors, offering one tasty dish after another. At the end of the night we were stuffed, and ended the night more knowledgeable about the delicious, unique foods of Cusco... Thank you Christina, I highly recommend this tour... Hopefully you'll have Christina as your guide, b/c simply put; she's awesome!

Highly Recommend! - This tour was AMAZING. My group and I had an amazing time learning about the history of Cusco, spending time with Christina & Bruce and eating amazing food! It really brought us out of our comfort zone and encouraged us to try food we wouldn’t have before! We made cocktails & had delicious small plates. We all left smiling ear to ear about how much fun we had! Highly recommend.

You’ll love it! - Our favorite tour of the trip. We learned about a few different Piscos as well as some great traditional meals. Anticuchos and picarrones were the best part!

A delicious education and culinary journey - Chef José Luis of Uchu restaurant met me at my hotel to take me on an awesome culinary journey through Peruvian food and culture. He prepared some delicious bites for me in the form of Cuy (guinea pig) prosciutto on one of the nearly 4000 varieties of potatoes, and an alpaca sausage with twice prepared potatoes to dip in a yellow sweet pepper sauce that I’m still thinking about over a week later….all washed down with a Chilcano (using Pisco) laced with my favorite fruit….passion fruit purée. It was an awesome start! We proceeded next door to Uchu to try an amazing ceviche and papas rellenas, mashed potatoes stuffed with peppers that were also flavor bombs! We then walked the streets of Cusco trying the street food hawkers wares (sweet tamales….Wow! & Picarones best described as a Peruvian donut made from (yet another) sweet potato variety and squash blossoms all doused in sugar cane syrup). How amazing those were!! The best part of the experience though was knowing that my financial contribution to this experience would benefit human awareness globally to combat ongoing pollution, illegal logging and other environmental issues in Peru that threaten the Amazon cloud forest which makes up nearly 40% of Peruvian territory and protects hundreds of species of birds specific to only certain areas in Peru. On top of tasting Peru in a few hours time I felt really good about doing my part to make sure my experience can be shared with many others after me.

Great tastings! - I really enjoyed this culinary tour with Christina. Her knowledge of Peruvian food stems from her background as a chef. I enjoyed the history behind each dish as well. I was completely full, and a little happier with some pisco sour, by the 3rd stop, and had to make room for 2 more tastings!
