Amazing!!!!! - Absolutely amazing tour of an incredible place. Our guide Alfredo taught us so much about this beautiful place and how it came to be. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. It's a tough climb up at the last km or so, but you can take horses if you feel the need. If you plan on walking, take your coca candy, energy gel and just breathe. Take breaks as needed. You can do this. You won't be disappointed when you reach the top. It's chilly and windy, so dress appropriately. Bring small currency to tip for pictures with the llamas and alpacas. Breathtaking!!!!

Rainbow Mountain - Literally breathtaking view. No words on how to describe it except to experience. Ruben’s team were ever supportive and encouraging the group to go on and we all did follow his lead. No regrets from me.

An amazing hike - respect the altitude! - Our guides, Alfredo and Pablo, were excellent. Knowledgeable, caring, helpful and fun. An amazing hike, taking you to 5,000m. Rainbow mountain is beautiful (but remember that every photo you see will be heavily photoshopped for the colours…). We loved the scenery and experience, and the food was great. Do respect the altitude - prepare, take advice, and be ready. We saw numerous who suffered, multiple vomiting on the way down / at lunch.

Rainbow Mountains are Stunning! - Tour was great! It is 1000% worth taking time outside the city to see the Rainbow Mountains. The hike is short-2.5miles one way, but the 17,000 altitude does get you. The guide ensures you walk slow and take your time. Most is actually flat but as you approach the summit the climb gets a tad steeper. Very doable if you just pace yourself.

Peru solo trip - Guides were very nice and punctual with pick up time. They were good about checking on people because of the altitude. Beautiful hike, food was good. I had a great time!

Recommended! - Took a tour with this company after reading other recommendations here, and do not regret it. We heard horror stories about other tour operators and feared the worst, but thankfully wasn't the case with this company. Both breakfast and lunch options were ample and delicious (though I'd be careful with eating too much for breakfast given the altitude and hike to follow). Both the driver and Anibal knew what they were doing and ensured we were taken care of at all times. I myself couldn't do the hike myself after messing up my knee in Macchu Picchu days before, and Anibal helped me secure a horseback ride to and from the mountain. (Side note--that was a great option if you can't do the full hike. They drop you off sufficiently far enough for you to brave the altitude and part of the hike so it's not "cheating".) We also got to the mountain early enough to beat crowds, which is helpful. Would definitely trust this experience with them again.

Very nice group of host guides! Accommodating and professional - They did a very good job of ensuring that each one of us had our best experience. They were extremely accommodating and professional. Future travelers should be mindful that the altitude may significantly affect them, even while preparing.

It’s worth doing it for the experience! - We had a very rare experience since it snowed on the day we went. It was still fun but it was cold! We didn’t see the different colors of Rainbow Mtn but it’s unique to have pictures of the snow covered terrain. Ours guides Luis and Alfredo were super nice!! The breakfast buffet was okay but lunch was great! The hike is not that hard as long as you pace yourself.

It's worth the perrange. - It's beautiful, but physically weary. If you can, book a little horse and bike. The descent is quite quiet. Get warm.
