Very nice, - We spent a nice day traveling around the island with Daniel. He had good suggestions on where to go, including some nice beaches, turtles, and the rugged north side of the island. He wasn't concerned about time and made us feel very comfortable. We'd use Daniel and his company again if back on the island.

A fun, private SUV island tour of Curacao!! - Daniel was a GREAT tour guide! The meet up location was a very easy walk from the cruise ship port. He was very knowledgable about the island and took us to some great beaches. We loved the beaches he took us to. Playa Piskado allowed us to snorkel with so many sea turtles and Playa Kenepa Grandi provided wide open swimming in stunning turquoise waters. We also saw the flamingos and he drove us through the downtown area to see all of the different building murals and the Queen Emma bridge. Oh and we also saw a roaming herd of goats while driving around, it was so cool!!! Thank you, Daniel!!

Favorite day - We had a great day getting away from our resort and exploring the island with Daniel's suggestions. We would not have had our favorite day of our vacation without him! He took us to beautiful beaches, was friendly and personable, and taught us about the island. Will never forget swimming in the beautiful aqua water with sea turtles!

Fantastic day in curacao - Daniel provided a great experience. 3 beaches (piskido and grote kipi; grote chikiti; shea boka; flamingos and quick drive thru williamstrad! He exceeded expectations! Friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend a day with Daniel!!!!

Great tour, great tour guide. - Daniel made the tour interesting and informative. Daniel knew the island like the back of his hand. He showed us all the little secret spots. The hidden beaches, told us about the wildlife, and what to do and what not to do. Highly recommend booking Daniel for a tour. You won't regret it.

Mostly a waste of time - First, I did try to email this vendor 2 weeks prior to the trip. I emailed a total of 3 times before I got a response. I was just confirming the reservation was received and where to meet. I was coming in on a cruise, luckily I bought WiFi, because I finally received a email like 2 days before the excursion. If I didn’t have the WiFi, I wouldn’t have been able to contact him at all! This is a new guide for the private tour part. He asked to meet at Starbucks and hour after ship docking. Was told it was a 1 minute walk. Once off the ship, we docked at a further dock. Took us 15-20 minutes to get to the Starbucks. Couldn’t find where it was, nobody was able to answer clearly, we bypassed the street and had to backtrack. Once there, the guide Daniel had a sign in a window of a van with my name. So that was helpful. He immediately talked about a hurt knee, but didn’t want to cancel, so he brought his 12 year daughter along to help. Picked up in a van vs SUV. One side of the van door didn’t open or open easily so we were forced to use just one side. This made it difficult to get in and out. The group wanted to swim with turtles. And then go sightseeing on the island. We were taken to playa Piskado, was told he would leave and come back in 30 minutes to see what we wanted to do. There was limited parking so understood not hanging out right there. On they way there, missed turns so had to backtrack. The daughter came to get us after a little bit to see if we wanted to go or stay. Once back in the van, drove to a nearby beach area. Did advise that we wanted to see other sights on the island. Was expecting more of a hop on and off thing to see sights. We drove for a long time. Driver and myself, had to go the bathroom but didn’t know where to go. Drove around a while looking, finally stopped at this restaurant/corner food place. Driver went pee in the back of building as no public bathroom. Daughter took my dad and I down the street walking to a public bathroom at a bus stop. They were gross and no toilet paper! Then we waited around for the longest time for daughters food to get made at stand. Driver asked if he could get a beer as he was feeling thirsty. This felt unprofessional. He did ask if I minded him having one, but felt like I was in uncomfortable position. Even his daughter was giving him crap for drinking while working. When we finally loaded back in the van, he drove around, but little details on island information/history was given. I again thought we would be told, and have opportunity to get out of van to sightsee. As he was driving around, had no idea where we were going or to ask to see things because I thought there would be common things to see/stop at. Never offered to stop at any photo ops except that one beach. No option to stop at any Curacao signs. I thought he would drive to a place and tell us about it and where we were. We passed by an old fort, my dad mentioned if I wanted to climb those stairs, no offer to stop and get out to see it. He drove us by where he keeps his boat for boat tours. Daughter asked how long we had been out driving for….Eventually he asked if he could take us back to the port. Multiple times throughout the time, complaints of knee pain. Then the awkward end of asking for 5 stars as he needed good reviews. I feel bad about not leaving a good review, but want to be honest. Spending $350 for several hours of interesting driving …I honestly wish I would of taken a different excursion. Could have been so much better. All very chaotic and not planned or thought out. Would recommend that guide know where public toilets are, people have to pee! Learn more of the island to discuss that with guests. Provide options to stop and get out and see things. Don't drink and drive with guests. I understand it’s customizable, but should have a foundation of things people like to see on the island.
