  • Operation Anthropoid Memorial - The Operation Anthropoid Memorial in Libeň, Prague, honors the ambush on senior Nazi official Reinhard Heydrich by Czechoslovakian partisans on May 27, 1942, which led to his death a week later.
  • Pivovarský dům Benedict - Our first stop. Here, you’ll sample 8 different types of beer, ranging from the oldest Czech brews to modern fruity variations. You’ll also learn about the history of beer and the brewing process.
  • New Town Hall - The New Town Hall (Czech: Novoměstská radnice, German: Neustädter Rathaus) serves as the administrative center of Prague’s medieval New Town Quarter, or “Nové Město.” In 1419, it was the site of the first of the three defenestrations of Prague.
  • Pivovarská restaurace Sladovna - Our second stop. You’ll be served 4 types of beers from the Cvikov brewery, which has been brewing beer since 1560.
  • Karlovo namesti - Charles Square (Czech: Karlovo náměstí) is a city square in Prague’s New Town. Covering roughly 80,550 m², it is one of the largest squares in the world and was the largest town square in medieval Europe. Founded in 1348 by Charles IV as the main square of the New Town, it was known as Dobytčí trh (Cattle Market) from the 15th century and was renamed after its founder in 1848. The central part of the square was converted into a park in the 1860s.

Great evening sampling and sipping! - This was a great tour for both learning about the rich and long history of beer in the Czech Republic, and its relationships to nearby beer-making cultures (i.e., Germany) and the culture of making other spirits (vodka, wine) in the country and surrounding areas. Mike did a great job sharing his knowledge of beer and the country. The dinner was delicious and a true Czech experience. Plus, by that point in the tour, we were able to select and identify the Czech beers most aligned with our palette despite the differences in the brewing process between here and home. Thanks for the great evening!

Highly recommend this beer tour! - As a beer lover, beer tasting tour is a must on the to-do list in Prague. My guide Dominik and Michael are very friendly and patient. They introduced me different kinds of beer, and told me the stories of each beer. Most of the beers are tasty, and I spent really good time with them. Highly recommend this beer tour, it's cheaper than other beer tour I saw in the city center. Especially for solo traveler, it is a good way to make connections with Prague.
