- The Marble Mountains - The Marble Mountains consist of a group of five marble and limestone hills situated in the Ngũ Hành Sơn District, south of Da Nang city in Vietnam. Each mountain is named after one of the five elements: Kim (metal), Thuy (water), Moc (wood), Hoa (fire), and Tho (earth).
These mountains feature cave entrances and numerous tunnels, with the opportunity to climb to the top of Mount Thuy. Several Buddhist sanctuaries are nestled within the mountains, making it a popular tourist attraction.
The region is renowned for its stone sculpture and stone-cutting crafts. Recently, direct rock extraction from the mountains has been prohibited, and materials are now sourced from quarries in Quảng Nam Province.
- Hoi An Ancient Town - Hoi An Ancient Town, also known as Hoi An Old Town, is the most notable attraction in Hoi An. Historically, it served as a trading port dating back to the fifteenth century, playing a crucial role on the Silk Road and being a key trading hub in Asia. Today, it has evolved into a retail center that heavily draws on traditional craftsmanship, particularly in clothing and leather goods.
- Lady Buddha - Lady Buddha, the Goddess of Mercy, is believed to see, hear, and empathize with the cries of people worldwide. She holds a water vase in her right hand, containing the nectar of life, and a willow branch in her left hand, used to sprinkle the nectar on those who pray. For fishermen, she is also a patron saint who provides fortune and protection at sea, prompting them to pray before embarking on their journeys. Standing on a blooming lotus, this exquisite statue faces the city, offering protection to its residents from disasters. Locals believe that since her arrival, typhoons have not struck their hometown. In a broader perspective, as part of the third Linh Ung Pagoda, along with two other temples in Ba Na Hills and Marble Mountains, it forms a triangle that “fences” off negative influences from the locals.
