This is the way to see the sites - Mr. Tho was a fabulous tour guide. He knew all the best places for pictures and happily took group photos. Our lunch was interesting: None of us had experienced hot pot before. We weren't quite sure what we were having or how to eat it, but it was delicious. The Big Buddha was particularly interesting, and the traffic has to be experienced to be believed. Our group took a bit too much time looking at the silk and embroidery at the restroom break on the way to Danang, which left us little time in Hoi An, so be aware of how much time you have and how much time you need to get back to the ship.

Best private tour in DaNang - We were tired of the cruise bus tours. We are on a 128 day world cruise. This tour was phenomenal. VU was a great guide. Provided history updates and great commentary on all the sites while leading us to the major sites . Six course meal at local restaurant.

Do NOT miss Hoi An - A delightful town -- wish we could have stayed for the lights at night. Our tour guide Mr. Tin was truly a joy. We visited Monkey Mtn., Marble Mtn and Hoi An. So much to absorb and Mr. Tin made it even more fascinating.

This was a great shore excursion... -
This was a great shore excursion. The title is a bit misleading as we didn't do any touring of Da Nang but from reports from passengers who toured the city, that was just as well. We toured Marble Mountain and Hoi An. Our guide was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. Marble Mountain was really interesting and Hoi An was amazing. I would recommend this to anyone traveling to Da Nang. Hoi An is a great and historic city of lanterns and I only wish I could have seen it at night. One thing you need to know is that our confirmation from Viator said our guide would meet us ashore and would be there by 7:00 AM and would wait until we disembarked. We got off the ship a little after 7:00 and walked up and down the pier looking for our name on a placard. Finally another guide took pity on us and called the number on our confirmation slip. It turns out that our guide doesn't come to the ships but waits outside the pier entrance gate about a 15-minute walk away or, if you're lucky, a ride on the dockside golf cart. When we met him he told us he was glad he came early and showed us that his paperwork said our tour started at 8:00. So be sure to double check the meeting arrangements. But it all worked out fine and I would certainly do this tour again with Viator. Once we met up with the guide it was even better than advertised.

The tour was not at Da Nang City we... -
The tour was not at Da Nang City we only drove by. The part in Hoi An was very nice and our tour guide spoke fair english. The problem was they did not meet us at the ship, we had to walk to the port gate which was over a mile. It was hot and wish we had known this in advance.
