The Bana Hills, elevated at 1,487m above the sea, have an average yearly temperature ranging between 17 and 20 degrees Celsius (62.6 - 68 degrees Fahrenheit). Bana experiences all four seasons in a single day: morning brings spring, noon ushers in summer, afternoon transitions to autumn, and night greets winter. A unique feature is the mid-level cloud cover, leaving the mountain peaks continuously clear. Bana is adorned with lush pine forests, making it an ideal location for a former French resort built in the early 1920s. This resort once featured 200 villas, restaurants, and clubs. Its moderate weather, untouched forest, and stunning views of the East Sea and the Lao mountain range made Bana a preferred retreat for the French and well-off Vietnamese.
