In the afternoon, we will proceed with a Hoi An city tour. Hoi An Ancient Town is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. Its buildings and street plan reflect a blend of indigenous and foreign influences that have created this unique heritage site. We will begin our walking tour to explore the highlights of Hoi An, including Phuc Kien Communal House, Tan Ky Ancient Commercial House, and the Japanese Covered Bridge.
Tour Details
• 7:30 AM: Pick up at your hotel in Da Nang and transfer to our office in Hoi An
• 8:30 AM: Join Basket Boat Tour (depart from our office)
• Ride a water buffalo with a farmer in the field
• Visit bamboo handicraft workshop
• Learn to paddle bamboo basket boats from the locals. Watch bamboo basket boat performances, crab catching, and boat racing
• Return for a snack and refreshment at a local’s home
• 12:00 PM: Relax and transfer to Hoi An Old Town (by bikes)
• Free time (1 hour and 45 minutes to relax)
• 1:45 PM: Start the Hoi An city tour. Please come to our office: 567 Hai Ba Trung St, Son Phong, Hoi An, Quang Nam
• 2:00 PM: Visit Phuc Kien Communal House, Tan Ky Ancient Commercial House, and the Japanese Covered Bridge
• 4:30 PM: Tour ends, transfer back to Da Nang hotel by van
• 5:00 PM: Arrive at the hotel in Da Nang
