Highlights
  • The Marble Mountains - The tour begins in the afternoon at 2 pm when our guide will pick you up from the hotel for the “Afternoon Marble Mountains and Monkey Mountains small group tour.”

First, we will visit Marble Mountain, also known as Ngu Hanh Son, a cluster of five hills made of limestone and marble. They resemble five fingers lying close to the sea. The area features several caves, caverns, pagodas, numerous stairs, and two spectacular viewpoints. It is also home to several Buddhist sanctuaries and Hindu grottoes, which are popular places of worship for the local population. Marble Mountain has become a must-see destination for those who appreciate natural beauty and seek a break from busy urban areas.

  • Son Tra Peninsula - Returning to the bus, we will continue to explore Monkey Mountains, where we will enjoy a panoramic view of Da Nang from a high vantage point. In Monkey Mountain, you will visit Linh Ung Pagoda, one of the largest pagodas in Da Nang city, and see the highest Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva (Lady Buddha) statue in Vietnam, standing at 67 meters. We will have plenty of time to take photos and relax in this beautiful area. If we are lucky, we might see many monkeys around the pagoda.
  • Han River - Then, we will have dinner at a local restaurant. At 8 pm, we will board a cruise ship to admire the colorful lights of Da Nang city and its sparkling bridges, one of the best ways to enjoy the scenery along the Han River.

On weekend nights (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) at 9:00 pm, you will have a great chance to witness the Dragon Bridge emitting fire and water for 20 minutes.

Good Night in DaNang - We were picked up from our Hoi An hotel right on time, and were two of six people on this tour. We were driven first to a store that showed the marble being carved and allowed us to purchase items if we wanted. Be aware that the marble here is not from Marble Mountain. After 10 or so minutes here, we were taken to Marble mountain where we climbed up the 200+ steps to the all the amazing sights and caves. After about two hours here, we climbed down from the mountain and were then driven to Monkey Mountain. By this time it was dark and the lights had lit up the giant lady Buddha. We spent another 20mins here before getting taken to a local restaurant for some noodles. After 30-40mins here, we were then taken to the boat station to join the masses of people waiting for a boat. It didn’t take us long to get onto a boat and were then steered out under a few bridges including the rotating bridge and the dragon bridge. We paused on the other side of the dragon bridge awaiting the Saturday night (not sure if it happens other nights) Fire and Water show of the dragon. At 9pm, the head of the dragon breathed fire several times before then hosing water from the head. It’s not an amazing show by any stretch, but it was okay. After the show, the boat took us quickly back to the station from where we grabbed the bus back to the hotel arriving at about 11pm. Quinny, our tour guide was great. She was welcoming, knowledgeable, and gave us time to enjoy the sights. In particular, she made sure we boarded a boat quickly and then knew where to stand (up the front of the boat) to see the show.

It can be operated efficiently. - The guide explained everything in detail and we had free time. We moved quickly. I also liked that we didn't stop at any souvenir shops. Lunch was also delicious.

Excellent trip, great guide - We had a wonderful time with Lucky - he was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and good fun. Beautiful locations. Would definitely go on an excursion with this company again - especially if we are fortunate enough to have Lucky as our tour guide!

Wonderful tour in Da Nang - We enjoyed the beautiful sunset scenery of Da Nang from Water Mountain, our Tourist Guide the Handsome Michael is a cheerful person, he speaks very well English and told us a lot about the history and stories of the Marble Mountains. We are grateful that Michael guided us all the way to see the Dragon and Love bridges, he found the best location for us to take the photos. Without him, we will be quite lost amongst so many audiences on Friday night. I will highly recommend joining this small group tour in Da Nang and thanks Michael for his wonderful service!

Amazing tour of Marble Mountain, Monkey Mountain & Da Nang Boat Tour by Night w/ a friendly guide & driver ✨🐉✨ Must See! - Everything on the tour was absolutely amazing! Lee was an incredible tour guide and every location we visited was fantastic 🤩 Marble Mountain was filled with incredible statues, temples and shrines - many located inside cool caves. Although there are many steps and the hike to the top was a bit intense in spots, the panoramic views of Da Nang were spectacular! Lee had a lot of great information about every location and patiently answered my many questions. Our skilled driver then transported us to the next stop Monkey Mountain had incredible views of Da Nang at sunset and the Linh Ung Pagoda was gorgeous with its many grand statues and beautiful gardens. The Lady Buddha Statue (tallest in Vietnam) was illuminated in lovely colors and looked so serene and beautiful looking out over the city. Although it was getting late, Lee helped locate a family of monkeys in some trees near the gardens for our teen daughter to see (she loves animals!) Once the sun had set, our skilled driver drove us to a restaurant near the Han River to enjoy dinner. We were served Pho with beef as well as some side dishes and drinks - it was very tasty 😋 After dinner we boarded a boat for a night tour of the Han River to see the many gorgeous lights and the dragon bridge breath fire ✨🐉✨ It was so much fun! After the boat tour Lee met us at the dock and we were driven back to our hotel. This tour was very special to us and we highly recommend it! Thank you so much 🙏

Interesting trip with a super guide! - The tour went from 03.00 p.m. to about 10.00 p.m. and was very varied. Both the marble mountains and the monkey mountain were very beautiful to see. But the coolest thing was our guide (Misa 🥰). She was super nice, funny and also interested in the customers. I would recommend the tour to others!

Good tour with willingness to customise - It was a last minute (arranged the night before) custom tour with airport pickup, Marble Mountains and Hoi An drop off. I was a bit apprehensive but everything went well. Our guide Mr Turtle was waiting for us at the terminal and we were off without any delay. After the flight we were a bit hungry and he found a good coffee shop on the way. The vehicle was also new and in good condition. Mr Turtle is high energy and knowledgeable. He made sure that we enjoyed our trip and yes - he takes good photos :-) Highly recommended!
