- The Marble Mountains - Our journey begins with a visit to Marble Mountain, a collection of five hills composed of limestone and marble, resembling five fingers near the sea. This site features numerous caves, pagodas, and temples. Marble Mountain is a must-visit for those who appreciate natural beauty and seek a break from bustling city life.
At the base of the mountains lies a traditional marble fine art village, boasting a history of over 300 years. Visitors can admire the skilled artisans, their creativity, and their uniquely beautiful creations.
After bidding farewell to Marble Mountains, we will proceed to a local family for a delightful Vietnamese lunch.
- Linh Ung Pagoda - Post-lunch, the tour continues to Am Phu Cave, also known as the Hell Cave. Here, visitors can marvel at the somewhat mysterious landscape and gain insights into the philosophy of life and the law of karma, the spiritual principle of cause and effect, where one’s intentions and actions shape the future.
Returning to the bus, the exploration continues to Monkey Mountains, offering a panoramic view of Da Nang from an elevated position. In Monkey Mountain, visitors will explore Linh Ung Pagoda, one of the largest pagodas in Da Nang, and see the tallest Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, Lady Buddha statue in Vietnam, standing at 67 meters. There will be ample time for photography and relaxation in this beautiful area, and with some luck, many monkeys can be spotted around the pagoda.
- Da Nang - Later, back at the local family, guests will enjoy a welcome drink and participate in a cooking class. Participants will make their own rice paper and prepare eight traditional Vietnamese dishes from the south, central, and north regions of Vietnam:
Marinated pork skewers
Papaya salad
Vietnamese-style fish
Rice pancake
Bánh cuốn
Vietnamese Bông lan cake
Banana and coconut cake
Beef noodles Pho
A vegetarian menu is available upon request.
The tour concludes with a transfer back to your hotel in Hoi An and Da Nang.
