A stop at a fishing village along the coast is included before navigating the legendary Hai Van Pass. It’s important to stay focused on the road while enjoying some of the most stunning views in Vietnam. There will be a stop for refreshments and an exploration of the old lookout turrets used by both the French and Americans during wartime.
This pass stands 500 meters high and its name means “Pass of the Ocean Clouds.” It is part of the Annamite Mountain Range and is renowned as one of the most beautiful passes in the country. Recently, BBC’s Top Gear praised it as one of the most beautiful routes worldwide.
After descending the pass, lunch is planned before heading to a waterfall for swimming and photography opportunities.
The journey continues with a ride towards Hoi An through the picturesque countryside.

Great day with Mr Thong!! - I had a fantastic time on Mr Thong’s Hai Van Pass tour. I did the tour on my own but luckily one other fellow traveller booked on. Either way I would have had a great time – great countryside, good mix between touring and visiting local sites. I felt safe and looked after from 8am to 6pm. 100% recommend!!

Great day out enjoying the freedom you get on the back of a bike - Although I do ride a motorbike very rarely as a passenger. Need not have worried. Mr Thống (Tommy) was brilliant. Very professional. I was 100% relaxed after a couple of minutes and sat back and enjoyed the view. We stopped at some amazing spots to take pics and learn a lot more about the countryside, its history and culture. I now appreciate a lot more the significance of the Hai Van Pass and the history that has made Vietnam what it is. All delivered in a relaxed and fun way. Great day Good lunch at amazing beach side place with coffee stop in the afternoon.

Great day tour! - Great, a driver with over 50 years of experience! Mr Thong drives safely and in control. In addition, this man can also tell beautiful stories and knows the nice places. away from the masses to eat. I say:"RECOMMENDED, every Euro Worth"!!!

Mr. Thong is the ultimate guy! - We had a fantastic experience with Thong! He was extremely patient given the weather conditions on the day of the tour. He also gave us all the necessary weather equipment such as jackets, raincoats etc which made us feel comfortable during the bike ride. Will definitely recommend Mr.Thong to anyone visiting Hoi An or Da Nang

Amazing experience work doing - Amazing experience. I'll never forget how we ascended a mountain in the pouring rain from a passing typhoon. He offered to move the tour to better weather but we wanted to keep it the same day. He brought safety and weather gear so we felt safe and dry for the whole.

Incredible trip and an absolute must do - Our trip with Thong was an absolute highlight in our holiday in Vietnam.
We did a self-driving trip from Hoi An to Hue. Thong drove a second bike himself with our luggage. He took us through beautiful non-tusristic places, with awesome views. His english is far from perfect, but he makes up for it with an incredibly kind personality and a huge passion for showing his beautiful country with others.
Thong is fully flexible and adapted the trip to what we cared most in seeing, often asking what we wanted to do.
We visited Dragon Bridge, Marble Mountain, multiple secluded places in the nature like a beautiful waterfall, and of course the Han Van Pass.
I would highly recommend his tour to anyone seeking for an adventure in Vietnam to get to know the landscape, nature and monuments better.

Exceptional tour - We had the best day seeing the country side by motorbike. Safe, interesting and incredible views. Met all of our needs. Lunch at the beach was fresh and delicious, a seafood feast that was ordered en route and ready within minutes of our arrival. Swimming at the waterfall was fun. Would highly recommend. Two couples, with three as pillion passengers and one rider. Bikes comfortable and rain did not deter us due to provision of wet weather gear. Plenty of photo opportunities and rest stops.
