A real eye opener - On arrival I thought “what have I done? It’s Disneyland” but it isn’t. The sheer size of this construction and the incredible cable car system (6-7 lines, the longest up a 1.5km mountain) is awesome and incredible to see. I preferred the private driver because the tour I found took 9-10hrs (1hr each way) and I wouldn’t want that long on site. We were completely satisfied after 3hrs plus an hour for lunch. A tip, start at the top and work down - you’re against (not behind) the long lines of tour groups).

Great to visit - We decided to live life on the edge and booked our trip through Trip Advisor late in the evening, causing some nervous anticipation about the driver showing up on time. Lo and behold, right on the dot, our driver arrived—proving punctuality can be an adventure too! The experience was nothing short of amazing, offering a plethora of things to see and do. My sage advice: beat the crowd and go early, but beware, the weather plays hide-and-seek from the bottom to the top of the mountain, so pack a jacket or jumper for the wild ride. Lunch at Kung Fu Noodles was a knockout—delicious! Despite the weather throwing a few curveballs, it added a touch of challenge to the super fun escapade. Highly recommended for those who like a bit of thrill with their mountain excursions!

Much more than just the bridge - Quite amazing to see even if it is quite crowded. Like most people, didn't realise that the bridge is part of a larger complex known as Sunworld. This includes the bridge, the French village and a smaller fun park and the cable car at Ba na Hills. One entry ticket required for all. The bridge & complex are up in the hills with the only access being the cable cars which take you up and down. You can't drive up. 5 cable cars are going when all working which take you to various parts of the complex, so check before joining a queue. There also is a short cable car between the bridge area, which also has a big buddha statue and gardens, and the French village area. Note you can't just buy a ticket for the bridge solely. The French village actually looks like a French village/town with buildings all constructed in that theme. There is also a climb up about 100 or so stairs to a Vietnamese themed area with great views and beautiful gardens, a pagoda and locally themed buildings. You can actually stay there overnight as there is at least one hotel on site. Bonus is its 1500 mtrs high and much cooler than at sea level. Well worth the trip for all the things to see and experience as well as the amazing bridge.

A must see, in a peculiar but interesting amusement park - So you pay a ticket fee to get into the amusement park so you can then go and see the bridge The amusement park is incredibly detailed and we could walk around it all day! So many little areas to explore and little attractions to get involved in. It gives off a Disney crossed with a model village vibe. Plenty of places to eat and little areas to explore, but not “rides” The bridge itself does get crowded, but it’s still an absolute must do in Da Nang. Really something to awe at and see. A taxi from Da Nang will be enough- no need for a private tour.

Mesmerizing Experience!!! - We came to Golden Bridge at 5 pm and the weather was perfect. Sunny and blue sky. It is a little bit cold and windy so have a jacket with you. The cable car drive lasted about 20 minutes and was a perfection! In a ticket price you even get free lunch and two drinks in a restaurant in the village in Theme park and do use it since it is very good!

Interesting bridge - Golden Bridge is as expected. Glad we saw it as quite unique. Quite crowded and lots of selfies happening, it’s a bit cooler in Ba Na Hills in July, so good way to spend a morning

Be careful, it’s a tourist trap! - We arrived at the bottom of Ba Na Hill and everything looks fake and plastic like in Disneyland. We took the cable car which has an amazing view on the mountains and the forests. At the top we went on the Golden Bridge, it looks nice… BUT! The bridge is crowded with tourists and our guide told us we were lucky that day because there was only about 5000 people. On holiday season, you’ll find up to 25’000 people. Don’t expect to take nice pics, too many people… Behind the bridge is hidden a giant amusement park but I should say tourist trap (we didn’t know before going). Everything looks artificial, fake and made of plastic. The park feels like Disneyland, showing european stereotyped village. We ate at the buffet and most dishes are cold because they are not kept warm on plates. Moreover the food doesn’t taste fresh besides fruits and a few meats they cook in front of you. A lot of the park is still under construction and will be probably much bigger. We’re not hardcore ecologist or anything but seeing people destroy such a natural place to build a giant park seems like a bad idea… We’ve been lucky our hotel made tours there but it’s expensive compared to other places (marble mountains, lady bouddha) you’ll find in Da Nang and in our opinion not worth it. We feel it’s all a trap to make you spend money hidden behind a beautiful bridge.

A SCAM. DO NOT BOOK. - Driver did not show up nor contact me! I will be disputing this charge with my bank immediately as well as my tour ticket for Ba Na Hills. Totally not impressed and is the first and last time I will be using Trip Advisor for any tours.

Not worth it - Not worth the price. Far too busy and full of tour groups of 50+, which meant you could barely move on the whole bridge. Too many people there to take Instagram photos and being told to “move” when in their photographs. By far better views in other parts of Vietnam.
