Meal Options
  • Pineapple cake with egg yolk - Pineapple cake with egg yolk is Taiwan’s most popular souvenir. I will start by making pineapple bean paste. Pineapple cake with egg yolk of salted eggs has the best salty and scented flavor. After the course, you can take home your own pineapple cake and enjoy it with your friends.

  • Longan cake - Longan cake is a nutritious sweet that is popular in Taiwan. Longan, also known as Fukuen, is one of Taiwan’s representative classic sweets that has the effects of improving blood circulation and warming the body.

  • Takayama Oolong Tea - In Taiwan, there are many alpine mountains, clouds and fog are generated in the alpine mountains, and the average sunshine hours are short, so tea leaves are rich in catechins. You can enjoy carefully selected over 1000 meters of Takayama Oolong Tea.

Additional Information

The favored souvenir of Taiwan is the Pineapple Pastry with Egg Yolk, and our course will guide you from the preparation of pineapple filling to the creation of the pastry itself. The blend of aromatic and salty flavors from the pineapple pastry with salted egg yolk is exquisite, and you can enjoy sharing the delicacies you produce with loved ones once the course concludes.

In Taiwan, Longan cake is a nutritious dessert, also referred to as Fuyuan. It is believed to aid in blood warming and heat retention. This dessert epitomizes the traditional flavors of Taiwanese sweets.

Taiwan’s many elevated mist-clad mountains limit sunshine exposure, resulting in tea leaves rich in Catechin. We’ll introduce you to a specially selected high-mountain oolong tea from areas above 1,000m. The combination of this refreshing, sweetly aromatic tea with our pineapple pastry, fragrant with salted egg yolk, and the Longan cake, provides the perfect backdrop for an idyllic and relaxing afternoon.

Fabulous cooking experience! - My family and I thoroughly whipped our cooking experience at cooking fun Taiwan! The instructor was so kind to us on teaching us the methods of making, and the translator was wonderful in helping bridge the language gap. The kitchen facility is beautiful, and their hospitality so sweet. The high mountain tea ceremony was a special highlight. And the desserts were very tasty. The packaging of our finished desserts is so beautiful and high quality. Even our 10 year old son was able to actively participate in all the baking process. I would highly recommend!
