Mat, our tour guide, went beyond simply showing us the site—he provided an in-depth history lesson that contextualized the events leading up to what we were witnessing.

Dachau Private tour with Mat - Informative tour, with an excellent guide. Mat was engaging, and had answers for almost every question we posed. He led us through all parts of the Camp, explaining the unique setting, along with the historical and psychological pieces woven in.

Sorrowful reminder and lesson for all humanity. Brought to life by passionate and knowledgeable guide - My guide Mat was definitely a walking encyclopedia of this very unfortunate chapter in Germany's history.
Not a clockwatcher for sure. Patiently and passionately elaborated on the exhibits and key features at the memorial site. Was most generous in sharing his insights and interesting nuggets of historical information. Done in the most respectful and solemn manner in honour of the victims of Dachau
Definitely learned a great deal from this tour. So much sorrow in this place and a grim reminder that we should never ever allow such atrocities to happen again. Will highly recommend
P.S. Mat even knows exactly where to wait at the bus stop, so that you'll be right smack where the door is for easy hop on to the crowded buses. And ask him for recommendations for the best Munich pub grub and brew at the end of the tour

Great tour guide - Our tour guide was Mat, he was on time and accommodated us with our meeting place. He escorted us to the tour site. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. It was a very informative tour that is a must see. Very heavy on your heart, but something every human should do. Thank you May for your time with us!

Unforgettable tour with and excellent guide Matt - Matt was an excellent guide. His knowledge on WWII and Dachau gave us a very clear picture of what took place at the Camp during the war, when it was liberated, and in the years after. Matt was by far the best guide we had in Munich!

Excellent experience with Mat - I highly recommend this tour with Mat. He was engaging and so knowledgeable. The concentration camp is definitely a heavy subject and I feel our family got more out of the experience going with Mat versus going on our own. His passion for WWII history was clear and he did an amazing job with our three teens. Don’t hesitate in booking this tour.
