GET LOST AND ENCHANTED AMONG THE ROCKS - We started from Sharm El Sheikh by minibus, drove a beautiful paved scenic road inside the Sinai Peninsula, then started a dirt road until we reached the Colored Canyon, near the entrance. The Canyon is formed by a succession of rocks with various shades of colors and shapes shaped by the wind over the years. It is only possible to walk and during the walk inside. it is nice to get lost and enchanted, among the fantastic rocks and admire the colors of the walls. The route is not particularly difficult, it is suitable for everyone, even if it involves some passages of agility and a steep final climb, and then back. The hike ends in a deep valley near a rest area, where we were offered traditional tea. The Canyon is a wonder to explore and photograph. It was an exciting experience!

SUGGESTIVE AND UNEXPECTED - We left and shortly after the guide informs us that first we will take a ride on camels, then we will go snorkeling ???????????
We left to see a canyon !!!!!
He tells us we'll go later.
An unexpected experience, but very nice, we rented the wetsuits (maybe a bit too expensive) and went to see the coral reef at the very suggestive blue hole. Then we had lunch and finally we went to see the canyon... a disappointment, I expected something a little similar to the illustration photo and instead.... judge for yourself by the photos

No Coloured Canyons - Blue Hole Good - Change the Guide - very bad! Unreliable Supplier! - There are no Coloured Canyons - wrongly advertised. Blue Hole was good and worth visiting - but NOT with this Supplier. Guide was absolutely unprofessional. Wasted 3 Hours. He sold extra Quad Bikes to 2 Turkish Ladies - which was NOT on our itinerary - so ALL other Tourists like me had to wait! Yes those ladies Crashed their Quad Bikes - and Police arrived - and we lost 3 precious hours. So we could not do walking tour of Dahab! Instead of reaching our Hotel in Sharm at 1600 we reached at 1930! We had to leave for Petra at midnight same day - so it was a rushed meal and zero sleep.

Great tour idea, but disappointed by the experience - A few days prior to the actual tour, I had thought about canceling it, I wish I did. I really hoped this tour to Dahab would have been a great experience, but at the end it became a little bitter sweet. The tour guide Saïd provided in depth information during the ride about the tour, the history and what to expect, but it was his attitude, thus the way he answered a question/concern I had and pretty much brushed me off in a rude way, is what changed the course of the trip. Visiting the canyon was nice, but everything seemed to go faster than the time provided in the information. When we arrived in Dahab, I realized that my booking did not include the AV ride, I questioned my booking and again I received an attiude for an answer from Saïd. I later learned that I did not miss out on the AV ride, as it was barely 10 minutes and not much site seeing. A large part of the group went snorkeling, I did not... The lunch provided was tasty, but from there we were rushed for the camel ride along the sea area, I opted not to, as I have done this several times, but to my surprise it barely lasted 5 minutes, which was different than what Saïd told us as he said it would be about 10 to 15 minutes. Lastly when I was looking forward to the Dahab market believing it would be a street with small stores, it was basically one spot with specific stores. Again Saïd rushed us in to the essential oils store while informing us that we had about 20 minutes to shop. I and a few others walked out, there were not many choices. Everything felt rushed and not as pleasurable as it should have been. If I look at my experience and what I paid for, then it was not worth it.
I decided to book this activity, even though there were just two reviews and I was skeptical about it. What convinced me to still book the tour, was one reviewer who spoke highly about her experience and their tour guide Ahmed. However I had another tour guide that made the entire experience bitter sweet instead of a happy experience visiting to the Sinai Colored Canyon and Dahab City

Very disappointing - missold - Didn’t enjoy this experience. Stuffed on a hot bus that was too small to fit us all in.
Snorkelling experience - we were not told about equipment needed and there was a $10 fee for all equipment per person. Had to have life jackets and would recommend flippers as current was so strong - we had to swim against it to get back which was a real struggle. The group were not told to not stand on the coral and many were including the guide which upset us as the coral is beautiful.
Camel rides were fun as was the jeep rides to and from the canyon. That was disappointing as we just walked through it without hearing anything about the rocks. It was 42degrees so felt too hot by the end. A very long day, felt a bit chaotic, too hot and crazy bus driver. Also taken to ‘shop’ a very poor experience.
